I need to know what goes on inside his brain. He immediately recognized that the pug would not buff the panda but kept two Hummingbirds around that also didn’t buff the panda because they only had two attack. Reminds me of the chess days. “Good move, good move, MMM best move? A brilliant move?! Blunder blunder blunder okay they didn’t like that move…” Man is simultaneously a genius and also not a genius. You can’t get this content anywhere else in the world.

Crazy to me that he understood that Pug and Dove wouldn't work with his Panda but kept buying Hummingbirds and not noticing how useless they were being lol

One mistake that seems to be plaguing NL is not unfreezing units that don't particularly help his squad.

NL, when using the cockroach take advantage of the food that's minus two attack plus four health. It will push the Cockroach to zero attack and it will reset itself to two in the new round.

hey NL I don't know if you read the comments but here are a few pack 3 pointers I feel like would improve your gameplay: The panda is the only tier 1 unit really worth scaling because it will always stay relevant because you are essentially scaling a future unit, seahorses and iguanas will rarely ever get stronger than 20/20 the humming bird is great early but you hold onto it for way too long, it is essentially 4/4 assuming there is a strawberry on the team so imo a little worse, so replace with something above 4/4 whenever possible. You often overcommit to seahorse iguana combo, they are both dependent on each other (iguana is solid with donkey tho) and like mentioned earlier they wont ever scale well into the lategame so you need to attempt to scale other units and get rid of the pair when you can. You significantly overvalue the yak (not in this video though), it is a resource drain and any scaling you put on it will eventually be lost, I know you use it to scale the koala but I've also seen you buy it with the prospects of finding a koala, but I feel like it is better to keep the yak frozen in the shop. The leech is also much better for this purpose since it can be offset by a single cucumber, but I've seen you pass up a leech in order to keep a yak alive which I think is almost never the right play. I also feel like the eel is pretty good especially if you have a panda/stegosaurus to pass stats onto it or if you have a fox that can quickly scale it. I hope you read this and if you did congrats on the 1 mil subs!

I don’t know if NL reads these, BUT there is one HUGE thing he’s missing from this pack: you can buy broccoli/fried shrimp on a unit, then combine it later to get the reduced stats back. One decent strat is to have two copies of a unit, scale one with broccoli+peaches+cucumber and one with shrimp, then combine to get a massive unit.

When sucking a unit with the leech leveling with a unit from the shop brings the health 1 above the shop pets health. so if you suck a yack down to 1 hp then combine it, it goes back up to base health+1 which is 7
