Dang! Just got it last night for 499, which is basically the price of the battery! Wow! My son has one of fat tire bikes which I love, so I got this one for me!
I'm sure they are going with a 750 watt motor on the next iteration of this model. Almost all the competition has that size motor. But for 899, that is a pretty good deal. If anyone wants to dip their toes into the ebike scene, I recommend the Jetson bolt pro. It's 300 at Costco and it's not junk. Also it is highly customizable with non oem parts.

I just ordered one last night. It's on sale for $500 and if you combine that with a referral code as well as Cashback deals from PayPal and a chase credit card it comes out to just under $400!
They just had a Black Friday clearance to get rid of all remaining inventory. I literally paid $481 after tax and shipping and it is brand new from the Rad site. They sold out almost right away and will not be restocking.
Awesome! It shouldn't be too crazy to put together I think. I upgraded to the 500 Lumen "Premium Headlight" from Rad as well, and it was easy to install.

I think it will still continue to be a good purchase for the next 1-2 years. The company seems to stock parts for bikes that they discontinued back in 2017, motors and batteries etc. The rest is all replaceable with normal bike parts :)
In the Seattle area (where it appears where you commute), how is the single speed still working out for you? I live in Seattle (but I live in and recreationally bike in the less hilly areas of Seattle) and am evaluating the purchase of my first ebike. Thank you!
Yeah! The mid step is the same length to the handlebars as the high step one, but she should have a much better time standing over the mid one and dismounting. You can also scoot the seat forward to help out a little! She should be alright after a couple small mods.
The company is certainly losing money selling them at that price. But either they are releasing a new model soon, or just need to generate cashflow now and are heavy on inventory. I wouldn't be too concerned about what it says for the quality of the bike, just a surprising business decision!
Hey there! I think a 2-inch rise should be doable if you are not running a front basket or rack. Before you ride, make sure you try turning the handlebars all the way in either direction to make sure your cables aren't going to get pulled on too hard.
How did you attach the premium light to the front rack when they aren't compatible? You're the only person I see running it this way and I have no idea how you did it. Please at your soonest convenience tell me or make a video on how you did it Please. I don't want to waste a nice front like because I need more storage
I plan on making a more in-depth video in the next month or so about some of my modifications and how the bike's been holding up! I attached the premium headlight by modifying the stock (small) headlight mount and screwing it onto the bottom of the basket. I bent the part of the mount that screws into the light so it's wider, and then used a dremel on the light itself to make the mounting point a little bit narrower so it would fit in the bracket. It's a little rough but the end result looks great :)

It's really hard to find info about how other people adjusted their rad bikes let alone the radmisson so your vids would be greatly appreciated. I still can't even attach the small basket to the front mount because the screws won't start or I think are too thick

@@andrewreid380 Hey! It is technically compatible but you have to mount the light using some creativity. I stole the bracket from the stock headlight and bent it so that it would work with the light. You can also flip the mount around that comes with the upgraded headlight and do it that way, but it sticks out the front a little more. I definitely had to get creative lol!

It is certainly worth it I think, even at $900! The biggest consideration is going to be whether the singlespeed gearing will work for you, given how many hills you are usually riding up. Cheers and thanks for stopping by.
