I had an export business from Australia to Asia, I lived in the places you talked about, it’s an extremely diverse group of people in China, and Singapore, Vietnam and the Philippines and Thailand, these countries are an extreme example of simplicity, they just don’t think like we do, or have any of the information we have here in Australia, because their input of information and commercialism is very low, they don’t think like the west, they are not bombarded with how you should live and what you should eat and wear. Because of this the people don’t have any understanding of politics and economics, the government’s are not held accountable and corruption is rife. When it’s mentioned in your pod cast, that the people should hate the Japanese or the Chinese, they don’t know what went on, the Philippines just voted in the son of the President who stole millions from the people and bankrupted them, the economy has not recovered since, and here we have decades later the son of this criminal, is now President, where do they think the money came from ? The people are just not tuned in to what is going on , anywhere, not in their own country, let alone what’s going on with the rest of the world

Spanian you should of got someone who has a little more knowledge about Chinese military technology and strength considering China is aligned with BRICS and Russia in particular who have the most nuclear weapons on the planet and there technology has shown in this Ukraine conflict that it has superior weapons to USA/NATO when you consider that they haven't used my h new tech and older weapons and have dominated the conflict and Russia and China share technology let alone china and Taiwan rule the semi conductor industry which powers all military weapons and if china and Taiwan realign or China takes back Taiwan would mean USA NATO and Europe won't have access to the most advanced simi conductors and chips in the world. Secondly this bloke should look past media propoganda and actually go to China to se the truth bkos the so called weiger genocide has been proven by Manny to be bullshit and history has shown otherwise when they were terrorist at one stage which the media never told the world and instead said consentration camps and not it was a way to stop the terrorism that was being done to China via weiger groups and when people have gone to these so called consentration camps they found they don't exist. It is what it is. The US dollar will stay on top for a while longer. The leading economy can print money and spread/ smooth their inflation on the world!

This guy seemed to surprisingly lean pro-China imo in a lot of what he said. For example, he said China buying land in foreign countries was just a natural expansion of their overflow of wealth, however he failed to mention how this explains all the land they buy near military installations in multiple countries, including the US. Add to that the expansion of creating island military bases etc, it seems a bit more than a wealth growing exercise... He also seemed to imply that the ROC government of Taiwan wants to take over the CCP of mainland China... However he fails to mention the ROC was the ruling government in charge of all of China, until the Chinese Civil War after which they retreated to Taiwan. So it seems a bit rich of this guy to imply the CCP had it first and then the ROC rebelled like a naughty child, became their own nation and now want to take over China.. It's a lot more complicated than that. Then he said why dont you hear people complain about US citizens buying land in Aus and US citizens own far more Aus land than Chinese do. Do i need to point out the painfully obvious here? We are allied with the US, not China. We dont complain about US land purchases just like we dont complain about Kiwi land purchases... China is the largest non-allied owner of Aus land and THAT is the issue. At the end he basically says we think China is a threat due mainly to xenophobia. It may help to get someone with a less socialist tilt on to discuss China as this was full of obvious biases..
