Good honest review , i would just like to say some things , its none of my business but maybe wear some gloves , you wear an air fed to protect yourself so a couple of gloves would not break the bank , second i could see something that looked like tigerstripping in the hood but it could be the camera and the lighting, i am not trying to pick the shit out of your work i am just pointing it out , anyway good review 👍
Thanks and yeah the lighting messes with my go pro so bad to the point I've been getting better results with my phone lately. And yes gloves are important for sure. Just slipped my mind I am a lot better about it lately. Was definitely sick of my hands being ruined by the end of the week
Awesome finish 👍 you using the I or the O version? Have you tried both? And if so which do you like better? Also you said it should have a 1.4 dudes it seem slower with the 1.3? I've been thinking of getting one not many channels give a clear understanding of it. Thank you in advance
You need way more practice. That hood looked like a blotchy mess. Next time tape the wheel molding to the truck and give yourself some room to work. Your overlap was all over the place. You also need to bring your clear at least 8 inches into the next panel.
@@Murderthefinish i did not mean to sound like a doink 😁 i just was scrolling through and saw. This. I had the 1.3i rp. Its slowish. The rp5000 1.2 is on the money for base and clear using 480 high tech.
@@Murderthefinish im gonna check it out 😁 i had a 5500 1.3o hvlp but i was using water and did not know it was gonna be way too much for it. My best metallic solvent base gun out of all the guns ive used in 28 yrs is an nr2000 1.5. The 1.5 is strangely smaller than the 1.4 and its like magic .
😂 I took this video a long time ago lol but when I use the SATA wich isn't very often 😂. I usually have the fluid turned in 1/12 ish turns. My pressure is usually around 24 psi and fan wide open. I might bump up the pressure to 26 psi for clear. It's a great gun for sure.
@Murderthefinish thanks I just bought a used one and looks new. I'm watching all the videos and I see some with everything wide open. I test it out and it seems like wide open is a bit much. Even for a decent pace. 2bars sounds a lot different than yours and I didn't see much fog in the booth.
Not a problem! And yes I really try and focus on getting as much fluid transfer as I can. Not efficient if you are loosing half the paint in the air! Cheers!
