Wya Schlerth? Can’t blame Russell Wilson anymore… time to blame that oline let’s talk about it. You always want to point fingers let’s point fingers at the obvious. Let’s talk about all the slow TEs we have ? We signed Donald parham three weeks ago who has 11 touchdowns in his career and he hasn’t seen the field yet but we’re playing & FB @ TE instead 😮??? Troy Franklin is screaming across the field wide open but the center is getting destroyed that Bo can’t even step up in the pocket and make a clean throw because of the inside pressure Mike McGlinchey getting beat every play Powers getting beat giving up inside pressure…. That’s the problem with this team. There’s no accountability for the players that need to be held accountable.
Ok No Russ to blame it on this season . Peyton needs to earn his beans like Russ did . Or have that talk mid season with him about a contract restructure
He literally led the team to wins against teams Denver hadn't beat in 8 yrs., all while being EXTORTED. Good luck winning against those teams this year.
I rewatched... the center was getting beat like a rented mule in pass pro. Bolles failed a couple times when we had free runners in their secondary. Payton might need to ask thr backs to stay in more to help.. but poor throws from bo when he had time, bad blocking when we had them beat... and no running game did us in
I don’t think Payton’s offense is out of date, I think the roster is built poorly. Paying nearly 80 million for an O line who can’t block and have receivers/RBs who can’t get open nor hit the right holes
These guys are also forgetting that Payton wasn’t calling plays in the preseason and he shouldn’t be now. Everyone says he’s a nightmare on the headset. He needs to concede to the OC who was calling the plays in preseason.
George Paton and Sean Payton can draft people for most positions on the team. Sean Payton’s offensive scheme will not help us draft anyone that does not align with his scheme. Sean Payton also removes players like Justin Simmons, Brandon Mcmanous, Russell Wilson and Tim Patrick, I can’t blame the GM for that.
@@jameskropp8033 we didn’t win with any of those guys either. If the player isn’t smart enough to understand a complex offense why are they in the league in the first place?
@@ded-data Because we are making it complicated for the quarterback to understand it especially when we are only two weeks into this season with a quarterback that we drafted before this season. Too fast too soon. Let the rookie quarterback learn the system.
The Seahawks and Steelers defense just shut us down ,,just like our defense shut their offenses down for the most part...They were defensive games...Theres no one to blame ,they just got outplayed.,and some bad luck....Learn from it and move on. If the sky falls it falls,,or doesn't. One game at a time ,to get it on track.I'm not worried about it...
Fire George Paton already. How many bad contracts had he signed? Wilson trade and that contract. Anyone with a brand knew Nix would be a bust. He should of went in 5th round but cause they are so desperate took him in 1st. Usually the 6th qb taken is not 1st round quality don't get how people don't understand this at all. Major reach.
Payton offense requires intelligence and practice so yes that is somewhat out of date in the NFL. It particularly difficult with first year QB and receivers and backs. Stability over several years is required at QB and some skill positions. It can work well but has requirements.
He was no good at Auburn , he was check down charley at Oregon, he was the 6th qb taken , he will be a practice squad player 2yrs from now, dude is not gonna ever be anything but a top 30 qb in this league, Bo Sux.
Again, how can you execute a play when you have a offensive line who are not athletic. You can't run a screen because who ever is pulling is to slow or missing blocks. Too many holding penalties, just not very good.
The run game is so impotent it's almost impossible to evaluate everything else. We're talking about the worst run game in football. There is no talent in the RB corps. We're a bottom 5 team at the skill positions. The cupboard is bare.
Sean Payton and George Payton still Denver's biggest problem. Drafting Bo Nix in first round was once again stupid. Should have keep Russ around another year and .let Nix ease in rather than right off the bat the deep end. But I wouldn't have drafted Nix first round. Sean Peyton looked like genius when he had Dree Brees just like Josh McDaniels was a genius when he had Brady.
Bring Clint Kubiac in..let Payton development Nic for the rest of the year, then let him go and bring in a young innovated mind who has ties to the franchise
@78LedHead Yeah... but I would like to see how our running game performs when they are not facing a stacked box. I saw a stat that showed that the Broncos face an 8 man front at the 3rd highest rate in the league. Unfortunately, until we can attack downfield, that situation is not likely to change because it would involve benching Nix.
You know I remember when in 1976 Tampa bay went 0-14, I think this Bronco's team might be as bad and not so much because of coaching its because of the Bad players like in 1976 , Elway and Paton have made this team a mess, its a SLOW all around team nobody can catch or tackle this goes back to the end of Kubiak, start to look at some of these problems Bolles every time there is a first down or a TD (holding) Terrible TEs over the years , Julius Thomas[last good TE] Draft a good running back in the 1st or second round they could of had Derrick Henry and Dalvin Cook over the years, stop drafting out of Utah , go to Texas ,Oklahoma , Ohio state ,Alabama , LSU , Florida state and Penn state those are the schools for speed and get some new scouts already.
Denver is a mess, get rid of Payton and Paton get some new ppl in there. Why drag out the misery, get rid of them. Denver is irrelevant once again. This started with the Bowlen family fighting with each other and letting the management get totally out of control!!!
Bo Is not ready, Please, He can't read a defence, The same problem Sean threw Russ under the bus for, Bo is 10 times worse,( He falls if you breathe on him) He's not better than Zack Willson or Stidham. You might have a chance as soon as Payton quits having wet dreams about Bo and put Wilson or Stidham in. Bo Nix is not ready!!!
Sean’s approach to the game is too predictable for the enemies. He needs to mix it up a lot more with some long throws play action aggressive runs, and some trick plays. Dink and dunk will not get it done. He’s got to keep the defense is guessing and spread the field of play. They’re not doing that in the defense can just key in on exactly what the bronco offense is going to do. You might want to see what Zach Wilkin do spreading the offense and therefore keeping the defense off balance.
His offense isn’t outdated, but he has a rookie quarterback and doesn’t have the players to run his complicated offense. He needs to simplify his offense and put Bo under center and run the ball.
His offense is outdated. He sucks. It's not 2009 anymore. Saints went away from his offense this year an are the 4th highest scoring team through 2 weeks in nfl history
Wasn’t Davis Webb calling plays during preseason? If so then he needs to be promoted to playcaller. I could have thought one of the announcers said Webb was given the opportunity to call plays during preseason which if so would make sense given how out of sync Payton and Nix are
The offense isn't out of date. It's just that Sean Payton, for whatever reason, refuses to play a quarterback who can run his offense the way it's supposed to be run. He had to use the training wheels with Russell Wilson, and now he is doing it to Bo Nix. He obviously trusts Jarrett Stidham, so just play Stidham. Why is he making this hard?
@tdor9963 I did, actually. 61% completions, nearly 500 yards. But more importantly, a yards per attempt rate of 7.5 yards. That's exactly what the offense needs to open up the running game. A quarterback who Sean Payton will trust to attack.
His offense is outdated. He sucks. It's not 2009 anymore. Saints went away from his offense this year an are the 4th highest scoring team through 2 weeks in nfl history
@thelordofliberty6984 You guys keep trying to credit Sean Payton with this outstanding offense when he also had losing seasons with Drew Brees and afterwards. Russell Wilson is a super intelligent and super accomplished player. To hop on the bandwagon that he couldn't absorb Payton's playbook is not only hilariously disrespectful but its also a dig at Pete Carroll...who won a shitload of games because of Russ and that historic defense
