I just received a short Pippa dress! It's so nice! I love it. I will definitely order a second one for this summer 🌞 Mila your reviews are spot on. You talk about everything i wanna know about a piece. Thank you ❤
Mila you don't even know that how much I love your daily videos and day by day your looking more and more pretty and I wish you have a blessed week ahead🌹💗💗😭😭
I think you should keep the navy Pippa, it looks great on you! Im glad I bought the Pippa in bois de rose, I also recommend this color a lot, is so pretty! Now I want a navy one too 😅
Taller ladies! Gap is currently selling a dupe of the short PIPPA in Tall. I have just ordered iit to give it a go since there is no way I could wear the Sézane version being 5’8”. Happy to report back. 😊
You look amazing Mila! very helpful video on Pippae dress I'm a size 46 in Sezane so a size 14. I was very excited about the Pippae as i'm not fan of sleeves on t-shirts, so i knew pippae was for me. When i received the black, size XXL the tie was too high, the slits was too high, I would have been more comfortable with an XXXL, but unfortunately I'm sized out on this one. I did share my findings to Sezane to pass on their studio.
It’s like you read my mind with videos, I had this scheduled to film this saturday ❤ I loved your video, loved seeing all the colors you tried with no filters. This dress is stunning and so curve friendly! Such a powerful piece!
Another great video Mila! I enjoy them so much. I love the short Pippa. I hope they make the sleeveless version in short. I would love to get one in navy but sadly not available.
I’ve seen people say the pippa is true to size but I also prefer to size up. I’m also petite with larger hips like you and just like the way the larger size drapes on me so much better. Plus it’s a bit longer (the short version) which is a plus haha. I also like the way the shoulder fits better on the larger size. I saw another reviewer mention the shoulders pulling too much and I tend to agree for my normal size, but I have much less of a problem with the larger size. Now my only problem is I can’t decide if I want to keep the bright red one 😂 I feel like the color might be too intense for my skin tone but it’s sooo pretty. Edit: it was interesting that you mentioned people complaining about sezane having mostly warm toned clothing. I didn’t even realize it, but that has to be partly why I was so drawn to the brand in the first place. I feel like most western brands I’ve seen tend to favor cooler tones, and with sezane, I rarely have to worry about a color being too cool for me. Maybe that’s why they’ve got so much of my money 😂
haha same here! I wear mostly warm tones, so Sezane is perfect for me (except that they take a big chunk of my paychecks too, like you 🤣). As for Pippa, yes a size up makes such a difference if you're busty or have curvy hips - I love having the extra room :) Did you end up keeping your bright red?
Heeey 💙 I haven't seen you lately here! The other day I saw your comment (when I said "grab your wine" in one of my videos and it was a Saturday morning ) but when I tried to reply, I couldn't find anymore! haha Hope all is well! The short version is my favorite for sure! Did you end up trying Pippa?
@@milainnewyork all is well thanks. Oh sorry about that, will comment more - love your videos. I have one Pipppa the black short one. Problem isnt the dress but the lousy weather ;-). Will see if Sezane has more nice dresses coming up...
great review. I own the Pippa dress in that plum colour (ling version) from last year. I only buy 2-3 items from them per year so I only get what I feel is truly special. The Pippa dress in darrk plum long version was a great addition, I'm 5'7" and curvy (large hips and chest) and it's just very flattering on me. I can also wear it to work. I have a Mango version of this dress (sleeveless, slightly shorter and no slot) and while I like the Mango one too, the Sezane is far superior.
The medium navy dress was stunning on you. I do think I would go with the beautiful purple one. I think you would look amazing in that color. Thanks for the thorough review. I may consider getting the sleeveless version. 😊
Hi Mila, super thorough review! I was thinking about this dress and your review comes just in time! Hehehe… been a little out of the radar but your reviews always get me up to date! ♥️
Great review as always 😊 I miss the navy one but got the long in black ,sleeveless in plum and short in red , I think I will only keep the short because I’m on the petite side and I already one the short in black that I love however the weather suddenly became hot in south of France so Pippa is too thick for now I hope they release the short one in more print /color (plum)
The black is one of the most versatile, so you definitely picked a great one! 🤗 I love the short one in red, I haven’t seen it in real life, but since it seemed orangey/coral on the website, I passed. It’s a beautiful shade though and the short version is even more flattering than the long, in my opinion. Lucky you to have a hotter weather right now, I’m dreaming about it 😂 Have a lovely week xx
7:27 hi Mila, I have the Pippa Short in lilac and I must say that it’s also a warm tone lilac. You can really tell it has a lot of red, and so does the blue one. Btw your yellow and purple ones are STUNNING colors!
Thank you Lidia! You look beautiful in Pippa dress 🤗 I’m in love with the yellow, definitely keeping it! I saw the lilac dress yesterday in the NYC store and it looked quite cool and to me. Is it the same version you have? I thought they released this one just a few days ago, no? The electric blue may have “red” on screen because of their filters, not sure because this one in particular I never saw in person.
@@milainnewyork 🤔 now that’s interesting. I’m hoping that the sun comes out again on Saturday, so I can see it in another light. Right now, under Germany’s clouds, it seems quite warm. But I always feel colors are different when I go to Italy, for example. And thank you ❤️❤️❤️
i've been eyeing the pippa dress for awhile! what i love about sezane is they do so many colors so there's a lot of options. right now I can't really afford sezane, so i found a knockoff version of the short pippa dress at target.
It’s a great dress but definitely easy to find similar ones from other stores. The one I got from Amazon is great and still holding up well after 2 years. It’s 100% cotton, just a little thinner than Pippa, but I don’t mind. I’ll check out Target to see their version, thank you for sharing! 😍
I tried the long and the short pippa but for me the long one is slightly too long on me and like you mentioned in size s clings a bit on the hips. The M would be too big for me though. The short pippa is way too short. I think I will try the amazon dress, thank you for sharing!!
The short version is really short, but I sized up for mine and now I feel ok with it :) it depends on your taste and how comfortable you feel though! I agree, the long version would look much nicer a little shorter! 💗
Might give the M in the short version a try. Your sizing suggestions are always spot on! Really appreciate your videos Mila. Hope you'll have a wonderful day. Greetings from Europe. Iris
I really like your lipstick. R u a winter? U may have said. I am a winter and I have trouble finding pink nude that doesn’t wash me out. I would like more makeup and skincare vids.
I know of an influencer who cannot wear the Pippa because the place where the tie fell looked really awkward. I don't know that this dress for everyone. On you, it looks good.
Thank you Susan! I’ve tried on many dresses that were not for me, so it’s a matter of finding the right style that works for our body type and life style. :) The tie is too high for me too (and awkward) on the sleeveless version - I’d have to size up. I do like that style more than the sleeve version though!
The shoulder part is also strangely cut and always pulls the fabric. Even on Mila, who has a beautiful petite frame and slender shoulders, you can see this pull. I think it comes from the jersey-like fabric and slender shoulder cut. On me, taller with broad, bony shoulders and a flatter chest, this fabric and cut totally emphasizes all of those factors. I could never wear Pippa or any other full-shoulder dress from Sezane. They cut for slender frames, I feel.
@@isabelw.5666 I have this problem with most t-shirts, also button down shirts (Pierro, Tomboy and from other brands too). My shoulders are actually not slender at all, they are quite wide for my frame - 18” or 46cm! I’m 5’5” 1.66cm for reference
@@milainnewyork Your frame looks super harmonious, they really don't stand out as wide. 👍 Bodies really are complex! 😅 I always size up in shirts with sleeves from Sezane but then am swimming in the extra fabric or the neckline is way too low. Since they committed to the square cut on almost every top with sleeves, I am out. 😅
Thank you for the video. I still haven't bought a Pippa, but I think that this might be the year. I just keep being unsure about which color to buy: I want something bright, but then I worry that I won't wear it as much!
