Although recently a lot of new players decided to pick Russia pulling down the winrate because their tanks arent noob-proof. The bias is absolutely true, i dont think i have to mention the Pantsir with it's missiles having almost double the range of any competitor, or the new uncounterable 20km range AGMs that only Russia has. Also the R-27ER has basically double the thrust it should, not even gonna get into the 2S38 or Ka-50. For the over 1k hours I've played i see in matches that any team with russia has a way higher chance of winning, and I noticed it's reverse for Germany.
@@ZigzagEnd don't worry, you'll grow out of this, you need 3k more hours to understand what I'm saying I recommend you to grind Russia and play it by yourself, you'll notice why you're wrong
@@gasparferrandisromero1075 any time i play russia i notice i bounce off more shells than in any other nation, although i know that russia is notorious for having terrible depression and poor reverse speeds, still the things i mentioned are true
@@ZigzagEnd every nation has its strengths and weaknesses, armor is a key point for Russia, but no fancy thing allowed, you can't turn back, you can't retreat, you don't have those fancy reticles of the westerns, your armor often has major weak points. A nation that has good traits is not biased
@@gasparferrandisromero1075 yea, tho i keep seeing this scenario that is the most common: russia rushes and dominates with barely any loses while the enemy team crumbles, just like this game i had a minute ago in 4.0 russia, and just like hundreds of previous matches in diffrent BRs
Honestly, I just feel the tank is just aight. The strong points to me were always optics and armor. Not that the latter matters if your opponent has good aim. You can kill stuff readily if the enemy isn't paying much attention to you, but it's not as versatile as stuff like Leopard 2, Abrams, Leclerc, Type-10, etc. Lack of HP/T ratio (21.6 with addon to Leopard 2A7V's 23.4 for the same lower top speed and 1 less gear. Even Type-10 is sitting pretty with 27 HP/T as do many other MBT's) and reverse gear really hurts it. I can somewhat work around the gun depression, but the transmission is what kills it for me. The tank will do find in urban combat with some support, but lack flexibility. And of course it has the famously bad Russian survivability against any well-placed shot...
@@OhhhLucien I mean, sure. It's fine. But T-80BVM is still just better. Almost anything T-90M does, BVM does the same or better. Mainly cause it's more mobile and has a functional reverse gear
@@Registered_Simp I'm agree, the BVM is still just better. But I really prefer the T-90M on rare open maps like Fire Arc, Sinaï, Tunisia... The commander sight is a plus, the laser warning too.
@@OhhhLucien I like CITV and LWS, sure. But the lack of reverse has proven too much of a loss for me. Can't get out before getting my breach shot out or my ammo rack detonated. With BVM, I can still spot targets about as easily and have the mobility to avoid more hits. That's assuming I'm not already doing that job better in Abrams or Leopard 2...
@@InFamoose-WT with top tier strvs and leopards, and just CAS in general some games i find russia to have its face caved in but other times it does fine or well, its hit and miss, hence why i said little but rough, not as powerful as it used to be imo but still really good
Im still curious about the timer in the T-90 & T-72B3 or T-80BVM when you turn your engine off, each of them got an APU installed which ensures the vehicle can still operate for many hours without the engine running.
People shit on the tank idk why. Well ik why its because it requires a different play style in contrast to T80BVM. U have to play more safe and when u do this tank easily can be top 5 or 3.
since people expected a more updated version of 2018-2024, with reverse gear and completely different protection (active protection). and now this is a old version
@@playeramin8862 T90M visually to this day has no APS, upgrade plan is scheduled in 2025. Reverse speed is still the same as confirmed from footage in Ukraine. The only upgrades is better roof coverage.
BVM is just better imo, mobility and RoF > spall liner (that doesn't work most of the time for some reason) 90M is the coolest looking MBT though, no doubt
It’s not even that the spall liner doesn’t work. The weakspots are all still the same and your ammo still explodes when it’s tickled. I only have up to the M1A1HC, and I’ve never had an issue fighting this thing
they've nerfed T90M and made fuji's frontal spall liner act as 500-millimeter protection which is so stupid. this simulation is no real at all after this crap from gaijin
So true they nerf T-90m so much, spals doesn't work. People always say bias, I mean compare the new Su-25 to F-16. New Su-25 can kill 2 tanks in long range but F-16 can kill 5-7 in higher ft above ground. Besides Russian tanks doesn't have depression like what Leopards have, and they can also be killed easily.
@@christopherjohnferrer3771 exactly. Gaijin are falling to the crowd. if you watched real stuff about T90M you'll see you cannot pen it with DP even without era!.
Holy shit. As someone with nearly every top tier Russian air and ground vehicle, ya’ll are the reason this community sucks. Imagine bitching about one of the best and most well rounded nations not being OP enough. Lmao. Go grind France and see what real nerfing looks like.
T90M nerfed to shit lowerplate armor and era that it has irl is removed, reverse gear nerfed from 16km/h irl to 4km/h has old round irl it uses Vacuum 1 that pens 950mm and engine is nerfed to 1200hp i think rn from 1500 irl
That's just incorrect, the T-90M has the best T-72B3 engine 1,130hp. That being said it always had 4km/h reverse speed. Vacuum 1 was developed for the T-14 Armata platform. The T-90M and the other Russian Low profile tanks cannot fit Vacuum 1 inside their autoloaders due to Size limitations. one of the Strengths the T-14 Armata has is bigger size with more internal space. Vaccum 1 was developed to maximize its length according to the T-14 Armatas internal space All other Modern Russian Tanks (T-72B3 T-80BVM T-90M) uses 3BM59 - 3BM60 - 3BM44M These rounds are similar in performance from each other due to the fact that the internal space of said tanks are limited by vehicles length / width / height. You really gotta research more into this, I main Russia as well and I even know the differences and reasons.
@@dankaloww1067 footage in ukraine shows T90M going backwards at 16km/h in every video if youd go and look the T72B3 gs 1130hp but the T90M has a 1500hp engine as for vacuum 1 that i was wrong so thank you for that
Хватит писать, что задний ход у 90 - 15 км/ч... Видел видео, как 90м едет назад - не больше тех же 5 км/ч, так что да, проблема с трансмиссией у него все еще присутствует
@@dankaloww1067 you're mistaken in something. look at the sides era! relict provide 250mm protection from apfsds but in warthunder it provides 20mm which is a joke if you know the old era called contact5 you'll see this is a nerf. while the same plates of era which ia relict provide a 250mm of protection in the front hall. isn't that a nerf?
This is definitely one of those tanks where spall liners dont do shit 😂 as u tend to lose 2 crew even when u have it up and sense u only have 3 ur done
t 90 m is a good tank when the other team, I don't know what they are doing... if there are tryhards, then without a chance, a very bad tank.. other countries are better
OMG everysingle video uploaded by this guy is just satisfaying, you can consider yourself a pro dude, I have to be honest one of the best in every line tree of the game, keep doing this great job !!!
Yes it is and it’s even better than when it first came out. I had a really rough experience in the first, maybe it was because of the stock grind, but now it’s just that much better. Its armor and spall liner has saved me so much and the fact that it’s so nimble makes it feel like heaven. It’s definitely not a non-brainer experience especially taking the reverse speed into account but that’s the only problem with this tank really.
It's alright, a T-72B3 replacement at 11.7. Though you can still make an 11.3 line-up with the T-80Us and T-72B3 to avoid 12.7 "uptiers" for people who use those 12.7 CAS jets.
