From the front the GR-S looks good. Side profile with those tiny street oriented tires, just looks half baked (and is actually half baked). Guys it’s not the wheel size, it’s the wheel/tire combo size. looks like 31”? The worst thing is the huge moldings on the side really accentuate how small the tires are. Sorry it does not look right. First thing everyone will do is spend 150k on a set of wheels and MT tires then will look great (but destroy your warranty on any suspension/driveline issues) I just wish reviewers would call it as it is. half baked. As for the Raptor, no V6 that’s fine. However a tune to 250HP should have been very easy for Ford to have done. The wildtrack with the same engine and tune will be quicker than the raptor due to extra weight and bigger wheel/tire size of the Raptor. Pls do the trucks properly in all areas guys especially when we have to pay 100’sK over.

I love the new look of it. Always great to have some plastics to protect the paint job when driving against bushes and the like. ❤

Raptor is is way better in technology, better interior, ride comfort, suspension, tire size, overall size and ground clearance, engine refinement and lower noise and vibration. Better seats and infotainment for Raptor Matagtag pa din yang Toyota. Mas masikip din sa harap yang Toyota.

The only downside of the ford is mostly stayed on the shop even during there warranty of 5 years

If toyota would really make the hilux competitor, why not complete the hilux. Put on some AT tires, upgraded shocks like fox, lifted a little higher, baja modes and the like. To me it only seems that toyota have put a bigger cladding to make it bigger and costly 😂😂

i have a Toyota Tacoma gen3 here in the US a hilux version. I still love the old looks of the Hilux more tough looking and not over exaggerated look. And for sure some off roader fans are going to throw some of the outlooks of the the Truck. Just saying. 😊

The GRS is essentially just a regular old hilux with new bumper and oversized fenders and a little upgrade of the old platform. Its not even close to compete with the New Raptor which is on different level such as beefier underchassis, suspensions, stronger body frames and lots of technology and safety tech that the GRS has none. The GRS is comparable only to the Ranger Wildtrak. But I will buy a current GRS today if I have the money to use as a good looking hauler because of the rear leaf spring and upgraded rear brakes.. but for my daily all around pickup truck or for off-road I will buy a Raptor for it.. the raptor is made specific for off road if you compare the body, underchassis, suspension and transmission to the GRS. The GRS is refreshed only to cope up with its ageing platform and offer some other choice for toyota lovers. Its not that I dont like the GRS, I like to have both but if I can only have one pickup then then raptor is for me. And if you are a fast driver in the highway, try driving the raptor and GRS then ypu will see that the raptor can drive super fast at hard corners without worrying that it will stumble, while all other competitors feels like it will roll over if you hit hard and you cant feel the road .. its just a better designed car overall..

hilux is great for old car peeps, for new car peeps, it's the ford raptor.

Hindi naman apples to apples na maicompare mo ang toyota hilux vs Ford raptor. Ford Raptors are full sized pickup trucks while Toyota Hiluxes are midsize. For apples to apples comparison it should be Toyota Tundra TRD Pro vs Ford Raptor for the full size then Toyota Tacoma/Hilux vs Ford Ranger for the midsize units.
