I fell in love with the Palestinian people after the resistance fighters broke out of the open air prison in Gaza. Before that, I had no knowledge of the situation, I can not unlearn what I know now. My heart goes out to every man, woman & child that has been treated with cruelty. I'm ashamed of my government & all governments that have allowed these horrors to happen & I hope there will be a reckoning where those involved will face prison time for crimes against humanity.

I had friends who traveled over the boarder to work in Israel and earned four or five times as much than they earned in the strip but what has been happening since 2005 has limited their opportunities. @JRuchin I have been to the strip on many occasions. I know many Palestinians and some are in the strip and some in Israel and some who volunteer to serve in the IDF. The WB is another issue which is not helped by Abbas’s “Pay for Slay” policy which perpetuates the ongoing violence.
