My theory is if the universe is infinite there is nothing outside of it ! If finite there is something outside of it possibly more universes possibly even with different laws of physics ! My question would be what are multiverse's originating from ? Its just too mind boggling to process all this !
String theory predicts multiverse, actually it is one of the only outcome but so does the Quran said it too. Expansion of universe was detected, as Quran also told so. Beside that, if a xy coordinate on a fabric of space is stretched to infinity then the universe is infinite. Hence why light can't escape a blackhole as light has to travel that infinite path - photon seems to be stretched to infinity here too.
@@user-dq7uy8qm4h the Quran doesn't mention anything about multiverse in the scientific sense.... It just mentions 8 other realms being made to send sinners to one etc etc. Same with string theory... which is almost disproven as it can't be verified or tested using the scientific method, which makes it philosophy and nothing more. Its ok to Believe even though the modern world makes most religious dogma from all religions seem a bit daft....its ok to believe both without having to perform all sorts of mental gymnastics to try and make them fit together. We know more today about our reality than the people who wrote all the worlds religious texts. Take the best from both and believe both. Just avoid some of the more obviously factually wrong stuff and just take the teaching about being a great human being and citizen of Earth while enjoying the very, very short time that we're here. Enjoy knowing more and seeing further into the universe and back in time than every human that ever lived before the modern era. Our purpose is to be witness to the incredible Cosmos that we find ourselves in, on our tiny speck of rock amongst the 400 BILLION stars in the milky way, which is one of 2TRILLION galaxies in the visible universe. We're so very small.
There was no beginning nor is there an end. Life is just the universe creating memories. Keep in mind, we can’t see anything before the big bang because it is opaque. It’s like trying to remember anything before you were born.
I believe that some of these docs came from Spark yt channel, as well as series like 'The Universe' and a few others. The first docs narrator's name is Dick Rodstein, if you were wondering (for real. He does the 'Cosmic Journey' series on Spark).
Jon Evans figureed it all out. Universe is always being created on the outskirts. We move inward toward the center of gravity, buig black holes in the center. The Higgs field is our Universe.
That's why it can't be finite. Even if the universe stopped expanding... What stops it? Something that goes on forever... This is why Elon Musk believes we are in a simulation because a simulation would explain infinity
@@brianrussell5789Why anyone listens to musk, I'll never understand. How does proclaiming we live in a simulation solve the mystery of the universe? Who/what made the simulation, and who/what made the makers of the simulation? And on and on. The simulation theory is meaningless tripe, and I'm not surprised musk spews the nonsense.
Under multiplication, the number line is an endless population of a finite population of slopes among prime values. As meaning itself resides in multiplication, our capacity to draw meaning is inherently finite if not fully registered.
Their is no edge to the universe it is infinite and the farther you go out the more of it will become visible. To think the universe has an "edge" akin to the belief that the earth was flat and a ship could sail too far and fall off the edge.
If we suddenly came into being something that takes up space, and increasing in size, then I figure there had to be somewhere for those conditions to be correct and allow our universe to blast out in all directions. And another thing, how does anything that has a beginning become infinite? For something to be infinite it couldn't have had a beginning. Infinite means you never have a beginning or end. Something expanding can't be infinite either, it's still growing, which means it isn't as big as it will be in a couple hours.
The Big Bang isn’t the beginning it’s a moment we have light housed it as a marker. Common misconception I believe the Big Bang was the beginning but we absolutely no evidence that says it’s the beginning just the time of the expansion hence we can’t go back further then that or we would absolutely know but then again it could be the start of time but I highly highly highly doubt it. Never bet against the universe every time we do we lose
One has to remember that infinity cannot be measured empirically. We do not have that capability to know what infinity is in the realities of science. Infinity is a mathematical concept. So a singularity can't be infinitely dense. The universe can't be infinitely sized. Having said that though, we can't prove that one way or the other. It's just something that is unknowable.
Infinity has no practical value in math or in every day life. It's a wonderfull concept for stimulating the imagination and I wonder if that is a practical value. Any way, we could talk about it forever. The infinite hotel is impractical because the vast majority of rooms can't be reached or contacted. Yes I was fooled too, for a while. A similar problem exists with simian script writers and the universe.
Is to simplistic to define the Universe a finite dimension if the center of the Universe is where you sitting at the moment as Bruno said there is no beginning there is no end
The answer to the question ultimately does not matter. By the time we would be able to tell we will become so isolated in our local group the rest of the universe might as well not exist. Because the longer it takes light to reach us those objects are so far out of our reach theyre long past gone by now. And whos to say there isnt already stuff well outside of the radius of the visible universe whos light will never make it to us due to things like the dimishing returns on the speed of light and the exponential increase of the speed of universal expansion? So theoretically? Yeah, it probably is. But realistically? No, its finite. Time is going to be the thing that traps us where we are and we will never know the true answer.
The universe are in every space and every galaxy have many universes. Space are too big for human to understand. And there are a lot of spaces and times. We human should start the researching by understand our own kind and other living on this earth. And then discover the universe where our planet are. After we know and understand this earth and all living, and understand and know all about universe then space. Then we got enough knowledge and understanding that we can comfort other living in the spaces and times. What are at the end of our space, its a wall, and behind that wall theres another space and so on. This all spaces and times are too big to us to understand. It perhaps ends all in a very big ocean.
Vsauce said if you were given the choice to either go to heaven or hell first within an infinite timescale, what would you do? Most people said obviously hell first then spend the rest in heaven for eternity. I thought heaven first because you will be there forever never getting to hell. On a scale of 1 to infinity there is no halfway point, so how could you make a number in that timescale? What people have to remember is no matter how big the number even if it is 10 to the power of a trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, that is still infinitely smaller than infinite itself. You would be in heaven forever. Lets just say there was a point though where it did catch up with you, (which it wouldn’t) you would probably be sick of it and welcome some pain relief 😂
I'm afraid that the science is very complete regarding the Early Universe (just not what came before the Singularity). And Astronomy, Cosmology and physics/chemistry is very good at making sense of what we can see. Just because you don't understand it or can't visualize it...yet....doesn't mean that science is wrong and you're right. Keep learning....its a truly fascinating subject.
I find infinity easy to grasp. It is just never ending. Why do you have to think limits with everything? Why is thinking what infinity is hard to grasp for most people?
True infinity is easier to grasp than absolute nothingness of a limited space. Our thoughts are confined to our daily concepts without deep examination. If we already know that Universe is so big so let be infinite.
Grasping that it implies there are an infinite amount of "you" and an infinite amount of them are exactly like you with even an infinite amount posting in this exact video on an infinite amount of earths. An infinite amount that are just slightly different etc.. Infinity is impossible to truly grasp, it doesn't just mean never ending lol
Let me simplify it for you terrans. The universe is a brain. Dark matter of space= gray matter of the human brain. Therefore the universe is finite and there is in fact a multiverse. Just imagine everyone you ever know, or will know, containing an entire universe in their heads. Dont be a stupid universe. You're welcome 😊
By our standards the Universe is really big, but is it? It might be really small. by the way God is Infinite, do we forget, Infinite is no beginning, no end. There can't be a creation that is Infinite because it has a beginning, and Infinite does not wear out but the universe does wear out. We are not Infinite inside of this Universe, we have an end, our bodies wear out.
bunch of guessing with a process that says you could stand a pencil on its sharpened point, math, a flawed process not correlating with reality. a guess using lies, do you think they could be correct?
Possibility (1) universe is infinite...Possibility (2) it is big but limited. Either way our brains can't sort it out. I have seen that example of hotel but frankly I stopped watching at that point as it is an old story and doesn't help. Why ask every guest to move...just ask first guest to move towards the "end". We just have to acknowledge our limited perceptions and inner thoughts.
@@MrThe1234guyseriously I know I don't know why people have a hard time wrapping their head around the sides of the universe. It is really not that difficult if you are not five . So many people think they cannot understand near infinite or infinite
Oh yeah, like God was just out there for infinity, waiting around forever and forever and forever and then one day decided oh I think I’ll make something to look at?
