Thanx Tony. This is the first one that impressed me. Even if you are an amp guy at $280.00 USD this is one hell of a back up to your amp, A killer practice unit and more than you need for direct recording. If you can't get 100% pro sound recording with this it's your compositions and playing ability not this box!!!
Hi Tony: Again a very good and detail use of this effects pedal. Can you do another clip that shows how to set a patch and how to switch from a clean sound to a distortion sound on the fly like in a performance scenerio. That would be nice , Dom ( Vancouver)
Another great review Tony! Seems like a great deal, with a lot of great sounding patches. I would love to see the Drum Machine review next. Thanks for posting.
I feel kinda old now lol I’ve never owned anything like this…. Never had to use a interface to get tones… I’ve always used tube amps and basic pedals for the most part. My “Fly Rig” pedal is the closest I’ve come to using something like this. Looks like once you’ve got the patches you like set up you are good to go. Looks awesome!! Maybe I need to join the revolution…. Thanks for the awesome review Tony 🤘🎸🤘
Multi-effects are the unseen nuclear weapons for the past few decades. Once you've tried one you won't believe your ears. That said they're not for everyone but they're sure for me 😎
After decades of playing percussion, I wanted to learn guitar, so I bought a Epiphone player pack and a Xoom multi-fx processor. Now I have 15 guitars, no amps ( cept the practice one from the player pack), and am still using my xoom pedal. Thanks to the built-in drums, guitar tuner, and looper, I can entertain for days!! :0) The true enjoyment is to be able to sample and tweak to my heart's content. Thanks Tony! Happy Thanksgiving!
U need to put them threw a valve amp.threw the clean chanel.that way U have the effects with the valves.and put a klone boost pedal as well. I promise U . U will go back to real valve amp
I have about four different Zoom pedals and they are splendid.. always feed the creativity bug, better than most. My G3 and G3 x keep surprising me over the years 👽
switching to this from the NU>X MG-30 - using the Zoom B3 for its excellent bass amps in the FX Loop. should get the GP-200LT tomorrow. don't need the pedal of the MG-30 - looking to streamline my live rig. great review, thanks.
From a recording perspective, I was more impressed with the MG30 which I bought after returning this unit's bigger brother. The sounds on the Valeton seem very @enhanced@ and tend to need a lot of tweaking before they sit well in a mix. The IR algorithm on the MG30 sounds more @realistic@ to my ears.
Hi Tony, I hope you or any of your subscribers can help. I've had this unit foir a week now and love the sounds, but I am trying to find a way to assign the tones I have created to individual pedals so that I can optimise it for live playing, rather than have to click left/right searching for the correct tone. Is this even possible? I'm thinking ti should be, as it no doubt has the capability, but it’s not so easy to figure out! Any feedback would be appreciated.
@@addictedtogear I was referring to the way they sound in the video. I don’t own one but, after watching other videos I ordered one from Amazon. Gets here on Jan, 4. Hopefully it sounds more like the other videos I’ve watched, and less like this one.
@@addictedtogear Sorry. It's not the playing or the review (which are both great), it just sounded fizzy through my headphones. The other reviews I listened to didn't sound like that for some reason.
I've been watching a ton of videos on these pedals and I haven't found anybody complaining about things breaking on them yet however they've only been on the market for a year though time will tell I picked up a gp200 and I'm very happy with the purchase so far😊
