Welcome to *The Warning!* You should try their 'Evolve' from the 2023 MTV VMAs for energy, stage presence, and crowd control. The drummer _demands_ that you pay attention to her. ⚡⚡⚡⚡🔥🔥🔥🔥
Best recommendation IMHO, I would like to add that it's better to react to the video on TW's channel since the one on MTV's has annoying 'music' at the end.
You're about to go down one of rock music's most fun rabbit holes. These three sisters have it all: talent, personalities, stage presence, energy, beauty, and brains, and they have an amazing backstory. They also have one of the greatest, nicest, dedicated fanbases, The Warning Army (TWA) that I have ever been a part of. They do not have any bad songs, so whatever you pick will rock. Welcome to The Warning Army. If you play them we will come. Keep rockin'
Yeah, that crowd was big and on fire. There were 8000 of us in the Pepsi Center that evening. One of the best shows I have ever seen. They make hella noise for only three members. This was the opening number of the show. What a way to start an evening. While you know some of this already, let me officially welcome you to The Warning. The Warning Army welcomes you to what we believe is the future of rock & roll - The Warning - Three sisters from Monterey Mexico who started playing together when they were children and who have now been making great hard music for more than a decade. With four studio albums, several live concert videos, we think there is plenty of material for you to choose from. They were independent for the first two albums (Kickstarter and crowd-funded), but are now signed to Lava/Republic records. This three-piece is: Daniela (Dany, 24yo, guitar) Paulina (Pau, as in POW-er, 22yo, drums) Alejandra (Ale, pronounced AH-lay, 19yo, bass) All three sisters sing, and all are classically trained on piano. The Warning have a sound that is both new and familiar. It is certainly hard rock, but clearly influenced by their love of classic rock, metal, punk, K-pop, indie, grunge, funk, and many other genres including classical music. But they have taken those influences and forged a sound that is uniquely their own, and you know that it is them. At the same time simple and complex. What does it sound like to me? Refreshing. A sound that has caught my ear and made me interested in rock again after 25+ years of the same old playlist. While together their combined ages are about the same as many of us fans, their musical maturity is exceptionally high. Need another suggestion? From The Warning’s RU-vid page you might choose from: - Six Feet Deep from Wacken 2024 (on Wacken YT channel) - Disciple, Hell You Call a Dream, Z, or Choke or anything else from their 2023 Pepsi Center Live performance - MORE or EVOLVE from the MTV VMAs - S!CK or Automatic Sun live studio performances from either MTV Push or Jimmy Kimmel - The official music video for their new releases Six Feet Deep, S!CK or Que Mas Quieras (in Spanish) - The official music video for XXI CENTURY BLOOD - SURVIVE from their 2017 TedX talk There are really no bad choices. They are something special live-I think it is their super power. Their energy, charisma, and musicality really shine when in front of an audience. In the past two years I have flown >20k miles all over North America and Mexico, and just got home from three shows in the UK and Ireland. Can’t wait for the chance to travel and see them again.
The Warning's super power is Live (especially from this Pepsi and the Teatro Metropolitan concerts). You selected a great song to start with. You need to react to Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Thanks for the great reaction!
Whats crazy is that in this concert the drummer (Paulina, "Pau") was very sick! Her sisters were also not at 100%. I would suggest continuing with songs from this concert (Pepsi Center in Mexico City) as it is 🔥🔥🔥. If you go in the order The Warning is releasing them it will follow the concert set list.
I can't believe there is only one other person who suggested the song 23 from this show. The version from their Teatro Metropolitan show is great too. It was actually the first time they performed it live and they nailed it. 23 has been my favorite song of theirs for quite a while now.
As an old died in the wool Rush fan I can definitely say that--these ladies have it. Can't say what "it" is but we all know they have it. Great reaction! Always love seeing someone react to their music for the first time. "Evolve" from the MTV awards was my first and it imprinted on me one of those hallmark epiphanies we never forget. Gave me hope for Gen Z and the future. "Authentic classic rock is not dead it just moved to Mexico." Subbed and looking forward to "More" --a good song by them as well.
You’ve just found the best rock band of the last 20 years. I discovered them in January and have already seen them live twice and have a ticket for their next show in the Uk. They are fantastic. They have so many good songs…. Literally dozens.
This may have been mentioned. Apologies if so. Pau tells us later in the concert that her voice is "half sick" (Spanish translated to English by RU-vid/Google), and yet she is still so full of energy. All the sisters are incredibly skilled playing and singing at the same time, but doing so on the drums is next level according to people who should know. But a lot of that is down to a lot of practice and rehearsal over a long time. They've been a band for around 11 years (+/-) at this point.
Check out Automatic Sun live footage from Tecate Pal Norte with studio audio. Another great choice is Evolve from the 2023 MTV VMAs. Great reaction, thank you!
As an old rocker this band really fill me with hope seen them live this year and were incredible is a wonderful rabbit hole to dive into looking forward to seeing them again in London next year
Welcome to the world of The Warning. The best thing about The Warning besides them being awesomely talented is that they have been putting out videos since they were children, so you can trace their careers from the start.
The first song in this concert is "Z" and it is another song that hits hard. Also check out "Black Holes" if you want to see the drummer playing piano and being supported by a string orchestra section. Its a sad/slow song
Saw the warning live for the first time at Nottingham rock city (I uploaded my video on my channel) fun thing is I went in not knowing one song... Came out loving them and now have all albums on vinyl, play the songs on my phone most days and booked to see them in Brixton London next year
Even when nobody knows them they manage to bring energy and power to the crowd. For instance, check out Evolve live at MTV MVAs. MTV does not present rock bands anymore and when they invited them everybody was blown away to the point where MTV's producer said loud on mic “Holy SHIT! I’m a fan!!” to the crew.
They are insane live. They have an incredible catalog of fantastic songs, every song stands on its own and is unique. You’ll never regret diving into their work. I’d agree Dust to Dust/ Dull Knives is a good follow up to Disciple.
Paulina (Pau) was Drumeo's rock drummer of the year for 2023. Her and her sisters are incredibly talented musicians with an amazing team behind them. They have no bad songs or videos. I'm going to sub just to see more Warning reaction videos. Congratulations on finding your new favorite band.
Subscribed for more The Warning DPA Goddesses. Great reaction and welcome to The Warning Army, keep The Pepsi Center reactions coming. Greetings from Guadalajara Mexico!
I enjoyed your reaction and you can't go wrong listening to any of their music and remember that live is their superpower. It sounds like you might be from the UK. There's nothing like seeing them live and they're performing at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on April 17, 2025. Go see them live, if you have the chance. Keep on rocking and you've been warned!!
To me this band really redefined what a power trio is, by often using the bass as a rhythm guitar or even sometimes the lead instruments, by using the drum as a third instruments and the vocal harmonies as a fourth.
The guitarist, Dany, is playing a Manson guitar gifted to her from Matt Bellamy of Muse, after The Warning open for them. She was gifted a Gibson Explorer by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, when The Warning open for them. Lzzy gave the guitar to Dany during The Warning's set.
Think from whats been said in other reactions from this consert Pau had it worse and Ale and Dany was not doing to bad. Still flu but on the lighter side
They are great song writers. An eclectic mix of rock genres in their sound. I'm sure you'll enjoy their catalog. This venue Pepsi Center in Mexico City is a real great series of videos they have been releasing recently.
You've hit the gold mine that is The Warning! You felt their incredible energy and recognized the depth of their talent. These sisters are truly special. You can't go wrong listening to any of their content. They literally do not have a bad song. And Live - amazing - seen them 4 times and never disappointed . . actually they get better each time! Enjoyable reaction - Thanks!
My friend: The Warning... one of the Best Bands in the World!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome to the most enjoyable rabbit hole on earth. Dive in head first, you will never regret doing so. Watch out………they can become addicting. You Have Been Warned! LONG LIVE THE VILLARREAL SISTERS!
Excellent Reaction Wow. Please Dust To Dust and Dull Knives live from the Pepsi Center. Then Black Holes (Pepsi Center) Drummer on the Panio with/ Orchestra. It's incredible. Thank you for covering The Warning 🔥🔥🔥
Check out Dust 2 Dust / Dull Knives same show to see the drummer sing lead vocals it's an ultimate banger. She also does back to back ballads on the piano Black Holes and Breathe later in the show which is crazy good. Disciple was the first song I saw by TW and I've been obsessed ever since welcome to TWA great reaction. 🔥⚡
Also, really good breakdown of the song. Quick note; turn up the sound of the video, it was really low in the mix. Looking forward to seeing a LOT more of The Warning from you!
Great to see your reaction!! Particularly being a young lady as them it is very heartwarming and refreshing. Suggestions will flow abundantly from The Warning Army, and they have A LOT of weird, unusual, spooky notes or creepy vibes "moments" in their entire repertoir, that have everybody here like crazy fanboys. I think you will really love the Queen of the Murder Scene entire record. For what I see you could be collecting a gazillion views and likes because we will really enjoy your reactions!!!
Definitely need to watch more of The Warning. I would suggest sticking with mostly live concerts. They really thrive on energy from their audience and their live sound editing is more raw and less commercial than their album sound. 6 Feet Deep is a fun video though, so make an exception for that one.
Best Gen Z hard rock power trio on the scene today. Drummer won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year, bassist is a Spector Bass featured artist, and the guitarist has been personally gifted guitars by Lzzy Hale of Halestorm and Matt Belamy of Muse, both acts they've toured with. And that mustard yellow guitar she's using in this video is the guitar from Matt Belamy.
Keep going on the releases from this concert, when you get to "23" you'll hear Pau (the drummer) singing lead, Kool Aid Kids has a great bass line, then Dust to Dust/Dull Knives is full of non-stop energy, when you arrive to Black Holes and Breathe have your handkerchief or Kleenex ready, on to the best version of Enter Sandman you've ever heard... and much more. The Metropolitan Concert CDMX and Lunario Concerts are two other jewels... If you want to know them better and find what drives these AMAZING Ladies I recomend you watch their tow TED Talks, the two Allison Hagendorf interviews and the six episodes of Mayday in the Making. Of course there is a ton of other interviews, vlogs, lives, aftermovies, BTS, official music videos... ufff!!!... This rabbit hole is DEEP!... Welcome to the present and future of Rock!!! 🤘🤘
Welcome to The Warning !!!! These Ladies have 10+ years of content waiting ahead of You.... (and the eldest is 24)... uh.huh.. the math... Hope You continue Your journey with The Warning.... They are Incredible !!!
Great reaction. Be prepared, The Warning Army is coming to fill your comment section. The Warning is about to conquer the world. You got here just in time. You have no idea how much fun you are about to have going down this rabbit hole. I suggest your next reaction should be Evolve, live from the MTV VMAs. Strap in and don't forget to turn it up. As all Warning fans say, "You have been Warned!"
The Warning are amazing live and next year they play Brixton Academy on April 17, their biggest UK headline show so far! As for other tracks try the official video or live versions of these on their channel: Six Feet Deep - More - Automatic Sun.
I enjoyed your reaction and have subscribed in order to watch your journey into The Warning. I do however have one suggestion, please turn the volume up on the music. It was difficult hearing it.
