A true classic, glad I got hold of one with the trigger job as they stopped selling them in February this year. One of the best shooting guns I’ve come across, agree be even better with optic cut, but nothing is perfect…I’m a fan of the high end Sigs but this is another level.
Beretta made a 92G Centurion probably back in the 90's? I am under the impression that it may have been a limited production run mostly for police contracts. Not sure at all if that is the case but I am aware that there is a pre Wilson Combat version of this gun. I wonder why it resurfaced in this context.
Beretta 92FS's are fine pistols, but they need a lot of upgrades to make them really outstanding. Wilson does a good job at improving them. I always wondered why The SIG P220 series didn't Garner the same attention, aftermarket upgrades and support, and after pondering it for a long time I came to the conclusion that it's because the SIG's are already excellent as they are and don't require all of the upgrades to make them optimal. As anyone who studies history and the military procurement process knows the SIG P226 really won the 1985 military trials but Beretta got insider information and under bid them on parts cost and thus won the contract without being the best pistol.

Stippling is not for plastic only --you are making shit up F. Checkering is hard on the hand after firing lots of rounds..which is why hardly anyone uses it in competition without gloves. G.
