as an Indonesian I'm really glad when I heard that this hotel got an award as one of the best hotels in the world... The founders of this hotel has been such prominent figures for their kindness and efforts in education and health care to several local communities... I hope they keep running and survive in this difficult time...

Happy birthday, Christian! It's been quite a while since I saw 28 but I still remember those days. The cinematography in this one is just insane. I can't imagine the amount of planning it took to put it all together. So very well done as always and probably one of my favorites over the last year or so from you. @@azfvlo1663 it was promotion for 9mio rupiah or around $630 for a night, minimum stay 4 night. Inc flight back to bali, airport pick up, all dining, massage, all day surfing (only 4-5 people allowed) and chocolate making. Usually it cost min $2200 for a night depending on season , but 3 months ago 54mio or around $3700 for 1 pax

@@Martin-xw7kk Before pandemic not at all. Only 10% of customer nihi local, the rest of it, tourists. But since pandemic begin. They have promotion for 9mio rupiah for Indonesian citizen. But also if you have kitas, you got the promotion, which is good deal, since normal price around $2200 (depending on season) each night. It was ended on august. I don’t know if it continue or not, the promotion I mean.

Sumba is best known for surfing, thanks to Occy's Left (also known as God's Left), the iconic wave at Nihi Sumba. Surfers flock from far and wide and fork over the hefty price tag to stay at Nihi and ride its perfect swell.

Sumba, the pearl is the horse! Peace from Bengkulu, Indonesia. Bengkulu is the home of two largest flowers in the world i.e. Titan Arum (male icon) and Rafflesia Arnoldy (female icon). Come to Bengkulu when Tabot Festival is being held every year!
