the fact ye got a balenciaga constructed hoodie to a $200 price point sitting on gap stores is a huge win for yeezy. the dove functions as a trademark and symbol for just that!

Idk man I think the Dove Print is the BEST part of the collaboration other than the oversized Aesthetics. It seems the Dove represents Balenciaga, which is absolutely fire & it’s crazy how legitimately everything Kanye touches turns to gold. Because let’s be real here in saying that Balenciaga would of never collaborated with a store like GAP if it wasn’t for Kanye. He brought high end streetwear fashion to GAP just by his name alone and then brought in Luxury by collaborating with Balenciaga with low prices! And people are still crying and complaining 🤦🏽♂️
Pretty crazy how much more interesting the silhouette of Ye and Demna’s hoodie is when you see them right next to the others. It’s kind of a more dramatic version of the look “we’re” trying to achieve. Great review. Got the green one in hand and I absolutely love it. Glad I picked it up in a light grey as well 🔘
It seems expensive at first glance, but I think the cut is so unique for anything at the price point (it matches high-end stuff) and the quality is surprisingly good as well.

I agree with the fact that the dove looks very cheap to be honest, they should make a t shirt and hoodie with just the "GAP" text and zero printing on the back and then chop off the price to like 110/in that range or something. I most likely would buy it then.
I agree with your take on the dove, I think it cheapens the design unfortunately, or at least it allows the garment less lnongevity...though maybe thats the point 🤔

I just saw in comment section many people don't know but there also hoodies which have the same fit and materials as the the dove hoodies but are plain (no dove). Maybe it helps someone before purchasing.
I'm 5'7", they only had larges left on the website today. I tried on an XL and it wasn't... awfully big. So I got a large. Someone reassure me please. Update: went to gap and bought a large in another color because I like the oversized look
I really like the oversize sweatshirt, but the rest didn’t do it for me. My son has that blue oversized puffy coat, and it’s really cute but it’s huge. I know, that’s Balenciaga
Totally agree on the dove, was a deal breaker for me similar to the birthdate on the recent essentials pieces. The construction of the hoodie was more than enough to make them identifiable

i got the Yeezy boots sand color way and I got them in a size 12. they fit great with a tiny bit of wiggle room at the toes. i am normally a size 10 in Nike, and a size 11 in Yeezy 350 v2s & yzy slides.
Yea I would say go a half size up, or even a full size up on the yeezy boots, I went with my true size and they are too tight. Still wearable, but would be far more comfortable if I had a bigger size
I think it's black actually. The dark grey in hand is more of a purple hue, the black is more of a dark grey hue, and the washed black is like an actual black.
too hard.the dove couldve been transparent but im sure it was a marketing thing. but in other words i probably wouldnt cop.rather get the balenciaga then to look like i have the balenciaga
