I only use Zeee packs now... Was using Gensace before and these I cannot tell the difference apart from they are half the price! 100c all the way, I haven't tried 50c packs. Running them in 8s XRT, 6s Mojave, 6s Fireteam, 6s Typhon, 6s Felony, 4s Senton, 4s Hobao TT, 3s Vendetta, 3s HPI WR8 Subaru Rally, 2x HPI/Maverick 1/8 Quantum Flux Rallys, All of my 3s MJX's and WLToys speed runners.They are awesome and excellent value for money.

Great video! Thanks for spotlighting the Zee battery line as there are many rc enthusiast that run these batteries in their rigs. There’s another list that has been compiled including all lipo batteries on the market today and Zee batteries tested very low. Don’t fall for the 100c rating cause all brands are not equal. The Zee 7200 mah batteries (hard case) are very good batteries.

All the CNHL that I've never changed above 1A of their capacity, and always kept in storage when not in use, have swollen without any visible damage on the outside, and had to throw away within two years of weekend use (not intensive). I've had for an additional year one of the shorty 4300mah 50C shorty, and that keeps on trucking with low resistance when charging, never overheats, hasn't puffed a bit, and gives solid performance.

Cnhl 70c g+ can't be beat for the price vs performance. I did 132mph on 3s parallel with 1/7 scale GT. I did over charge to 4.25v however. The 6000mah are great if you can fit them

If they are all you've tired then they will feel good. Use a decent high quality pack and you'l never look back. They give out most of their capacity from 3.7 down to 3.45v per cell. And they drop voltage under load fast !! They really are not good at all for anything.

I built a 1/10 Xray truggy and I’ve had nothing but issues. If it wasn’t overheating it was devouring the battery. It is my fault for using a 4.5t mod motor and overgearing it a bit. I finally settled on a 16t pinion and it’s not as fast as I was hoping it would be. If I go any higher it overheats. 18t does ok as long as it’s not too hot outside. I’m using a 4200mah reedy 2s pack. At full charge I can do one full power 0-132 foot run. On the way back it’s in limp mode from the voltage drop. The stadium truck it came out of could do pass after pass on a 5.5t mod motor and way higher gearing. Hopefully a better battery will fix it.

If you buy something for a good deal you can’t expect it to be great. That’s like buying an entry level subwoofer and expecting it to take a 10,000w rms amplifier. I run the 6500 & 7200 2s packs in my RC basher and after an initial cell balance on each they run almost identical charge times and charge rates. This is 6 different batteries and all the ones I bought as pairs are super balanced to each other. I just bought two of these 6s packs to try them in my basher Kraton. It shouldn’t be an issue and I got two of these for $107 shipped on a special sale from Zeee paired with an eBay coupon.

120 c out of such a small Pack is ridiculous! Not believable at all. You need a somewhat big pack to sustain such current. 120c means you could draw 2.2Ax120c=264A. 264Amps is downright ridiculous. If they would say 20-25c that would be probably right. Ever wonder why traxxas batteries are so conservative with their c ratings? Not saying they are good, because they are mediocre at best. BIG DIFFERENCE I would say you need more data. You need to take C ratings average after a run, room temp, maybe 50f and average them to get a real world idea of where and what your batteries can put out.
@RCexplained
@RCexplained Год назад
Hello, thank you for the data. I understand what you are doing by manipulating IR using heat within the pack. The formula on the spreadsheet is setup to use the one reading obtained at the one minute mark of a charge cycle. In otherwords it already takes in to consideration the IR changes that will occur when the packs builds heat. I am looking to improve upon the spreadsheet in areas where I can get greater accuracy. Including, as did mention in the video, using an average IR vs peak IR. Have you also tested the maximum current rate that pushes your batteries just below the 60C / 140F mark?
