I think that's a nice theory but that to me isn't what Dots about. For how much he cares about his music (5 years between the last 2) I don't think he would have an actual album dedicated to Drake

I was there for Ether/Takeover. Ether is not as lethal as Not Like Us. Nothing in Ether is a vicious as being labeled a pdf. The kind of stuff Dot is saying against Drake is much darker than anything said on Ether imo.

i got jay, nas, and big ahead of em. em hasn't made a great album in over 20 years. his first 3 were great tho. but he's had too many wack ones recently

I hink the albums you have ou ou is Way more importan than if you Got “washed” on one song or not. Is also more important than some diss battle. I still like kendrick and eminem better though just for other reasons

@@meladgoat drake?😂 If you Said eminem hasent put out a great album in a decade in would agree, but 20 years is a bit harsh? I Think his last great album was mmlp2. He has made great songs since, but no albums ha been overall good. Revival outside a few songs is horrible, i agree with that. Release is very bloated, but for me is a really great album. Its easily one of Eminems most creative album. I actually really like that one. Relapse is 100 timers better than every single album he has made since mmlp2.

Nas has been my Goat up until about 2017 once Dot put together 3 straight masterclass classics that can all sit with illmatic had to move him to spot #2 As for Jay he’ll never be above biggie on my rankings so that leaves him around 6ish

Illmatic is a classic but heavily overrated. It’s not a pure work of art. But it’s a heavily influential album and is definitely great. In no way can you compare that album technically to TPAB or DAMN

They are factoring in everything, including and beyond skills: impact, business moves, hits, etc. There is NO ONE who can be listed above Jay and Dot on a full rubric - both of them can get bested on one or two metrics, but best all around?? Nah fam

In my personal bias ranking he's number one. All time he's probably 15-20, but it's hard to rank across generations of hip hop. In his generation he's top ten, I think.
