The primary issue is that men and women are no longer honest about why men even choose to couple and get married. Men don't get married because they love this woman and want it to just be him and her. Men aren't under the illusion that a family is only two people like most women are. Women think kids aren't necessary for a family or if they have kids they think they don't need a father to be a family. Men who want kids know that a wife or at least a stable relationship are necessary. If the man already has kids or he doesn't want kids the impetus for him to get married becomes damn near zero especially if he is financially content. If he needs a woman's additional income to live the type of lifestyle that wants then he has a valid reason to marry or at least ulterior motives.
