As a fan of cryptozoological stories/lore and of the Shiver/Boogeyman series this has to be my favorite. I'm just surprised that this is the first of me hearing about this Chilean creature. We all have heard of Nessie in Scotland, and I have been several times to lake Champlain and familiar with "Champ" and even to Wisconsin to hope to get a glimpse of "Pepin" in the origins of the Mississippi river but Chile has the best documented and photographed of all the alleged plesiosaur-like cryptids. Maybe I need to go vacation in Patagonia?
Absolutely. The idea that people are globally seeing the same animals (long necked seals etc) and that its all just misidentification is more insane then undiscovered marine mammals and turtle relatives.
Find a book called Nrssie, by Nick Redfern called Nessi. He go's ito great detail, about what the creature is. He confirmed alot of what suspected. Really good!
My theory on finding these creature's; whether Lake, Land, are Air they won't be found because People are looking for the animal, the way to find them Is Not too Look for them. Why? Because it's strictly by Happenstance when people see any of these types of animal's. Science is only about 95% correct. In this case the creature's are familiar with the Lake's area and if an animal feels comfortable and not threatened they'll reveal themselves when the animal chooses.
I have watched around 5 episodes from Shiver so far. Seems Loch Ness sightings in over 5 countries : U.S, Scotland, Norway, Sweden, Argentina and others seemingly have not much evidence as in Austria and Turkey. There can only be one plausible explanation that, this being , whatever it is, comes to lake to either reproduce or to lay low for some time usually when it is spotted. While the rest of the year it wanders around in the larger water bodies of the Seas and Oceans, with the Pacific being the easy to conceal spot. I personally think this species is adapted to very low light conditions and "might" (or hardly) need surface oxygen for survival. Considering them to be mostly to be of the mammalian family (since their need to surface), they might however have evolved gills like the 'Lungfish' for example which could be a metaphor for the ability to swim deep underwater and survive for long without the need to surface quite frequently like the Whale or Dolphins. Whatever, we need to get atleast a clear image of what they truly are.
It would make more sense if it were an unknown massive soft shelled turtle. I saw a video of something that was like ten to twelve feet long in an American lake. And it just looked like a massive turtle to me.
Georgia has pleosaurs he'll one small on washed up in the Altamaha River.Of course the government played it off in the media and took it.But bigger ones have been reported for centuries.
This is a tourist spot. Considering the number of hotels and restaurants in the region. For the good connoisseur, half a word is enough, huh 👀👀👀👀👀👀😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
The following is fact, there is adequate sources of fresh water food available to sustain such a sizeable creature. The idea of such a prehistoric creature actually still living is so extremely slim and with so few sightings makes me believe there maybe something inside the lake there but not what is being suggested here in the video. A gigantic fish perhaps? Maybe some exceptional sized aquatic animal but to be prehistoric is very unlikely.
@@cheshiregrinn9847 Yeah in the video it says it's in Argentina somewhere close to Buenos Aires. that's all in South America. Glad to help you with the video. 🤗🙂
could a titian boa some how survived inn sub terrain caverns if the caves had higher o2 levels like it was before the last climate change if the ecosystem some how survived under ground and or have access to mass fish
An animal that is anywhere from 12-25m needs a quite large habitat alone, but since these cryptids are locked to a finite lake, it needs to be large enough to support a healthy breeding population of minimum 50 individuals (preferrably ten times that number to prevent genetic drift) which begs the question: Why are there so few sightings? The easiest answer is that it's a myth propagated by individuals that want to promote their local business and tourism i.e. the animal in question is a single fable and not multiple individuals of a large aquatic species. BTW, the description of the "swan neck" plesiosaur has been thoroughly debunked by biomechanical studies hence the old lady is clearly lying as there is no scientific evidence that corroborates this anachronistic description of these animals. The same goes for Nessie and all other "plesiosaurimorphs" that supposedly i habit every other freshwater lake.
Knowing plesiosaurs and their relatives looked quite different from our outdated swan pose pop culture depictions does not make your idea any more correct. Are plesiosaurs still alive? Almost certainly not. They have vanished from the fossil record since the KT extinction and no one is seeing them. Do large marine animals (likely mammals) still remain unclassified and unconfirmed? Almost CERTAINLY. People all around the world seeing animals and comparing them to what they know cannot be chalked up to "misidentification" or "gas bubbles" everytime. Hopefully within our lifetime the long necked seal is discovered, and a resurge of interest in undiscovered life will encourage more funded research. These creatures need our help now, we have damaged their homes and their food supply and they could well fall into extinction before we have a chance to find and classify them. Do you want to discover new forms of life through hard science and put conservation methods in place? Or do you want to let the last of the great sea serpents fall into extinction due to human causes while you sit around and feel clever for knowing the things you've read from other more clever people online? The choice is up to you, and the truth is out there.
😂😂😂omg. Just go then. These people are from South America and they don't owe you English speaking people. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Do you speak Spanish? Now? If not LEARN
😂😂😂 it's in South America. Why should they speak English... 😂😂😂my goodness are you American? Because that'll explain why you said what you said. Imagine going to other countries and expecting them to speak English just cause you do.😂😂😂😂😂
@@alphatrion100I can assure you this person is murican . The type who go to middle East and shout at a goat herder in English, if they don't understand, they speak LOUDER 😂😂😂😂 as if that'll magically make them learn English for a foreigner. I have first hand seen these people complaining about french in France 😂😂😂😂😂.
@@jetjaguar4285just go then. They are not bonded to give you ENGLISH SPEAKING FOLK always especially from Argentina or Chile remote. And if you speak Spanish why are you bothered. Why read , it's basic Spanish they're speaking amigo 😅
