What is Beer league bum hockey? Its time to call out the so called hockey "reviews" and product gear information on youtube. Lets put it to rest, the rest is fake. Is there anyone else? I didn't think so
the straight shooter aproach you have is much aprecaited iv only been playing about 4 months but i feel you are the best source for gear info on yt in its entirety you deserver way more subs lets gut this man to 2k allready guys
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews i started playing with my dad who stoped about 8 years ago he also likes your videos espacialy the workout/yoga streaching videos hes rocking a warrior LXPRO and a trigger 6 pro
FT4, Ft5, lX pro, trigger 6, all of them perform like you said in your review, prefect advice best channel despite you never talk about the graphic of the sticks!!😆🙏
I really appreciate your channel, for all these reasons. You're the really only hockey channel that I watch. Occasionally I watch Hockey Reviews but 90% of the time it's you. One stick I'd like you to test is the new Code at Costco, curious how good it is for $45 or whatever it is, compare it to the TMP.
I'm in the process of buying new gear for my son (14 years old). He's moving from int to sr. Since I haven't played hockey for decades your reviews are an invaluable source of information. Most other "reviews" are just marketing gigs. I really appreciate them and I'm very grateful to you and the time and effort you put in these videos (and money...).
Love all your stuff man! Like others have said I absolutely REFUSE to buy a stick without seeing your reviews first. Please keep it up. And by the way, your favorite shop is also my favorite shop so I hope to run into you some day and really pick your brain!
While I do really like, and appreciate your channel, sticks are very subjective. Your game is definitely a more power shot oriented game, so naturally, mid/higher kick sticks will be more to your taste, whereas lower kick/lighter weight sticks won’t serve you personally as well. Sticks like the vapors/triggers/hzrdus, etc., would be better suited for players who have accuracy, and hands oriented games.
I think I was just waiting for the right low kick *cough*agent to come around. Spoiler for tomorrow. But yep you are correct on my game style for sure. I’m loving the trigger by the way for my no slappers over 35. Stick is a gem for that league.
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews yeah, I can’t wait to see the AG5NT review! Really excited to try it out. The trigger 6 pro is my current stick, and it works well for me.
@@Elihoffs95 t6pro solid too. 7 not much different and loving it. I used the agent, Qr5 pro, trigger and agent back to back to really ensure my low kick ratings were bang on
Lol hey Justin, been away but good to catch up on your reviews. I think someone got angry and reached out to you and probably even asked you to stop! Don't stop. You have literally saved me about $1000 over the past year from buying wrong gear and equipment. Hope all is well!
@@beerleaguebumhockeyreviews clearly obvious lol. I had a good laugh at this video. Funny how an "influencer" would attempt to bully you or tell you how to dictate what content you put out.
Yeah man for sure. With my working so much, I find it hard to buy gear right now. I have the ccm jetspeed ft5, warrior covert qr5 pro and sherwood rekker element 1 for sticks and going to order the bauer ag5nt
@@frankiegaliffa3850 nice solid collection. I just finish the qr5 pro filming as well. Ah well if you ever can start small post a video or quick reel who knows least it would be real info!
before I go to hockey monkey for a stick, my brain goes “CHECK REVIEWS, NOT ANY ONE OF THEM ONLY BEER LEAGUE HOCKEY BUMS!”. Love the vids, can’t wait for the agent 5 stick review.
Hey Boomer. Off topic to the video but I am looking to buy new shin pads. For context, my ccm u+ CLs are falling apart after 10 years lol and I need new ones. Don’t know where to start. What are your favourites?
Whoa ten years crazy. Anything new is gonna feel wierd for sure. I would stick with the jetspeed line of today if that’s what you have used for so long. Shins are a weird one for me they have to work with pants and skates and not hit anything and be a bother I wouldn’t change up to much and stick with ccm after ten years
I have been following you for awhile now. I love your reviews. You said the Sherwood TMP Pro was a good stick. I have one for myself. It is now my go to stick. Keep up the good work and forget the nay sayers.....
Bought the hyperlite shins and warrior dx elbows on your recommendation. Really considering the Sherwood tmp pro again, based on your recommendation (but I don't take clappers lol)
I find that Hockey tutorial does the same kind of stuff you do. They have the same opinion on sticks that you do, like the hyperlite, as3 pro, ft3 pro, sling, hzrdous px, etc
Hockey tutorial is fine. However they only do ccm and Bauer. They didn’t review the sling or hzrdus. They are also sponsored so they never say a bad thing about gear: so it is different. I will straight tell you something is junk they will not or they won’t be getting free gear that’s for sure.
great job!! love the reviews! maybe you should do some reviews about low end sticks too? for example how much they are differ from top end ones etc. that would be cool too cheers
Man, I put them on at the store and couldn’t get the skate to feel right. It has this wierd bump on the instep and I tried to get it to work but was really painful. I heard a few people had this issue so I passed for now. I’m sad about it.
@@1550tc hard to say if boron will be a part of Bauer sticks going forward. The agent is good because of the new stiffness and recoil. The hyperlite didn’t have that and had durability issues so will be interesting to see what they do
