Title- Is There Power In “Not Knowing” ? | How to Reset and Become Your Authenticity- Producer Edition - #podcast
Description-
“You don’t know, what you don’t know, you don’t know”
In this episode of The Messenger the topic is authenticity, and why we can’t seem to find our authentic self. This is a Producer Edition- where we bring on our producer B, to come and bring his open and honest opinion to the table. While he channels the collective energy to dive in further into the topics at hand and asking questions we’re all thinking.
The Messenger touches upon how the unknown surprisingly shapes our authenticity and how it can and can’t limit us. Because of the fact of “what we don’t know, we don’t know,” it creates a space where people are constantly comparing and competing with others. This is when people lose sight of the value of collaboration, and ultimately our own authenticity. The societal pressure to do better than the next person often pushes people to imitate others rather than to embrace who they really are.
With these societal pressures comes limitations that have been imposed by society. When we listen to these constraints, we unknowingly place limits on our own authenticity. By recognizing and releasing ourselves from what we don’t know, we can step into a place of “nothingness,” where we can reset, rebuild, and intentionally choose who we want to become. This is where the magic happens: once we reach the point of openness and surrender to the unknown, we allow all that is to “show us” what’s possible.
An additional thing that was spoken about was our feelings, and whether the way we see and feel things is authentic or coerced. Are emotions like sadness around death inherent, or are they shaped by societal conditioning? Also tying into how we should let go of the unknown and embrace the flow of life. By doing so, we gain control-not of the outcome, but of the knowledge that flows through us, helping us learn what we didn’t know; we didn’t know.
