Please enjoy this 4K tour of Arte by Thomas Chan, a 5 star hotel located in the Kuala Lumpur suburb of Mont Kiara. This is not a hotel review, but a brief impression of the property.
I think its rather pretty! I can see how someone would say it's tacky, perhaps because its overkill or show offy in a way, but I still find appreciation in the style and detail.
Aside from the excellent craftsmanship I saw in some parts of the hotel, I found the work in the room, especially the bathroom, to be a little shoddy. I would have captured more of this on camera, but I wasn't purposefully looking for faults.
