In Episode 2 of Powerstroke Rescue, we take a closer look at the 6.0L Powerstroke engine that was causing problems for our service truck. In the previous episode, I introduced the truck and shared the story of how it came into my care. As it turns out, the issue was not the injectors, but further investigation revealed low compression in three cylinders. In order to diagnose the problem, we need to disassemble the engine and remove the cylinder heads which we need to do as well to update to studs as well as everything else to make a 6.0 reliable.
Join us as we tear down the engine and see what we find. And don't forget to stay tuned for future episodes, where we'll continue to follow the process of rescuing this Powerstroke engine and bringing our Ford truck back to life.
Thanks for watching!
