I remember watching your previous video. I tried a few things with positive results. For beats, I write a decent outline of the chapter and then use it to create scenes in screenplay format. Then, I add descriptions in the SETTINGS like this EXT. MEADOW - DAY: Waist high golden grass. Oaktree, etc. I get that to match the scenes, and it’s been pretty good at incorporating those details. I've also added all the chapters to the prompt and had Claude use it for background information. It's good at pulling details and carrying them onward. The color of a horse or the make and model of a car. [CHAPTERS] Chapter 1. Chapter 2. [/CHAPTERS] Not sure if this is useful for anyone, but they were a couple of things using your prompt that have helped me save time and keep track of finer points.

00:41 📝 The super prompt is a powerful tool for guiding AI in generating content, involving a long prompt and the use of opening and closing tags to help the AI understand the structure. 02:43 📚 An example super prompt for fiction is provided, focusing on writing 50,000 words of Chapter 1 and emphasizing the importance of sticking to the script. 10:22 🔍 Super prompts can be adapted for non-fiction, such as SEO writing. An example of an informational article super prompt is shared, involving a large word count, examples, and keywords. 12:24 🛠 A product review SEO super prompt is introduced, similar to the informational article prompt but tailored for product reviews, including an overview, features, and reviews. 14:03 🌐 Practical application of the super prompt is demonstrated with an SEO article about Helen of Troy, showcasing the AI's ability to generate high-quality content. 15:52 💡 The video concludes by encouraging viewers to explore different super prompt use cases, inviting them to share their ideas in the comments.- 00:00 📝 The "super prompt" method involves using a lengthy prompt structured with opening and closing tags to guide AI, especially useful for generating specific content like chapters or articles. 01:51 🧩 Opening and closing tags help AI understand and navigate through a long prompt, preventing confusion and keeping it on track. 02:43 📚 Crafting a "super prompt" for a book involves sections for instructions, the previous chapter, style guidelines, character descriptions, setting, outline, chapter beats, and reminders to maintain focus and consistency. 05:45 🎭 Detailed character descriptions, including personality traits and physical descriptions, enhance AI output, but excessive information might distract the AI from the primary narrative. 06:01 🗺 Including a setting description in the prompt aids the AI in understanding the story's location, fostering more coherent output. 07:25 📑 Ending specific sections of the prompt with "the end, do not proceed past this point" helps AI stay focused and prevent deviation from the intended content. 08:19 ✍ The "super prompt" method efficiently generates initial drafts for SEO articles by providing clear instructions, keywords, article outlines, and examples to structure the content. 11:43 📊 Creating SEO-specific super prompts involves incorporating keywords, article outlines, and examples/reviews to aid AI in crafting articles aligned with SEO requirements. 13:06 🌐 AI-generated articles through super prompts can aid in SEO content creation, enhancing productivity while requiring additional input and verification for originality and quality. 14:43 🔍 Testing the super prompt method for non-fiction content resulted in comprehensive and factually accurate articles, surpassing other AI-assisted SEO content generation methods in quality and accuracy.

I also just wanted to say thank you for making these videos and showing how to properly use these Ai tools. For the first time, I’ve been able to write again, working on my dream book series that has been left to collect dust for over 10 years. Truly life changing. People don’t understand how wonderful this can be for some people who struggle tremendously. So thank you, and bless you.

Great stuff and very useful, thank you! I was just wondering have you shared the super prompt template anywhere in text form? It would be nice to copy and paste 😊

I'm playing around with your superprompt right now - it works well in chatgpt as well as claude2. I've also used variations for plot and character creation. Overall, it's good at constraining the model and formulating long prompts.

Good stuff, Jason! You mentioned you'd get into using the SP for nonfiction writers but didn't. Please do another vlog about the SP for we nonfiction writers. Thanks.

Word count targets really mess with them. Both GPT and Claude will bring in elements later in the outline to meet the target. Same thing happens when specifying a number of chapters. They'll end the story and keep writing fluff chapters afterwards. I find it better to tell them "hey, write in extreme detail by doing this and this"and that's working well for me.

I appreciate these prompts that you're making videos about. But will you ever make a google docs link or some website that would allow people to copy paste the framework of the prompts themselves. Like all of the information here is great, but pausing constantly to mimic it is a bit of a pain.

I don't know if it's just me, but I loved Claude when it first came out--however, over time I find it less and less worth the effort it takes to get it to stay within the bounds of a prompt or outline. It will actively argue with me when I tell it to write chapters over 5k or so. It starts just asking me over and over whether I meant 1k rather than 10k or 5k rather than 50k. Then when I repeat that I want it to write the longer amount, it will say that the amount I'm asking for seems "excessively long" for a chapter, even though I give it *extensive* details of what I want in the chapter. Eventually it will say something like "Okay... [Takes a deep breath] and then writes about 2 or 3 paragraphs before it goes [writes 10,000 more words of inner monologue, description, and character development where the characters do...(whatever they're supposed to be doing.) I still use it for checking my continuity and worldbuilding, but it's such a hassle to write with that I rarely bother.

I use Claude for basically everything, but sudowrite to write the chapters since it does more words. I found Claude will also write more words if you start a chat each time with the super prompt.

I'm just trying with claude2. Mostly I've been using SW and chat till now. Question if anyone can answer this: how can you stop generating the response with claude? Chat has a button but not claude? You can easily tell with the answer isn't going the way you want. Bad returns add up with long form writing so how do we stop it?
@evolutiondl1492
@evolutiondl1492 9 месяцев назад
I've been using Claude a lot more than ChatGPT and I would say there is no way you can make Claude stop its response once you enter a prompt, even if you close it. If you do close it, the next time you open the chat with the prompt, it will show the full answer. The best thing you can do is when you enter the prompt is to close Claude IMMEDIATELY but that task will be impossible with a new chat as Claude responds very quickly with a new chat. With old chats it takes Claude longer to respond so it might work there.

Is there an AI that will let you upload an image and then describe the image in text? Better yet create a prompt for you to insert to scenes? Example: you want to recreate body language so you upload of a person standing; Your character has unique eyes so you upload a photo of an actor with similar eyes; you want to recreate a hairstyle but don't know how to describe it.

Guys, I'm kida new to this channel. Does he share his prompts with us somehow or do we have to buy material? 'Cause I've been paying Sudowrite, Poe, RU-vid... and if I had to pay anything else to help writing my books I'm gonna have to declare bankruptcy and my next novel will be written in cardboard.

I find you often have ambiguities in your prompts that come from your not being a native Machine speaker. For example in this video you said you didn’t want it to have “mushy X, Y or Z.” It is unclear if you are telling it not to have Mushy X, Mushy Y or Mushy Z, OR not to have Mushy X, Any Y or Any Z. As a protocol droid, I pick up on these things. 😅

Couldn't you just use a summary of the previous chapter, rather than sucking up a huge amount of context?

Potentially but giving it a whole chapter shows it what your writing style is like.
