Finally, a Sol video! I fell in love with her when she released, and with all of the adjustments I needed something to use as a guide. I’m not sure if she’s better when built as a traditional mage or kind of DPS oriented, it’s hard to tell sometimes. (And Nimble is on my mind for the glyph, but still, sometimes I wonder)

Anyone remember Sol in release when her 3 would stun as well?

Sol really only needs 2 rings to reach over 2.0 attack speed so skimping on rings is perfectly fine. Personally I still like Telkhines but since Sol is getting attack speed from her passive she doesn't need the early attack speed item.

sol 3 only does 600 + 150%, so you need around 1000 power and 100% pen to do 2k damage

She has the early game, but once physical ADCS grab crit you might as well just not bother.

I play Sol a lot and I've never liked rings on her, except that one month when they were op af. Otherwise I think ability based Sol is just straight up better, hands down. So, no cringe here. EDIT: to answer your question, Sol is not bad rn. It's just crit that's too strong and needs a nerf asap. As soon as that is nerfed, she'll be able to keep up again, at least as adc. As mid she's as good as any mage, even though she's veeery slept on for some reason. Her 2-4 combo oneshots as it's always done, though obviously you must build her as a normal mage.

Barely 4 minutes into the game and while Mast is having a great time in duo with Athena, Kali's getting trolled by a toxic Ix Chel soloing her speed and red buff because she died a single time. Plus getting hit with a you rock cancel that for good measure.

i honestly think it is atrocious to build the rings on sol... its a shyt build with no MP5... try using her 1 without mana... no sustain... also no damage... like yeah her autos slap,, but you need DAMAGE... ring give little to no damage... and little to no mp5/cooldown... attack speed sol garbage... always has been always will be... i get 2 attack speed without building a single ring on her..
