Kwon I started watching you back when you introe’d with Good Good in the Payne’s Valley major, instantly admired your laugh and fun/relaxing vibes. Taco I pleasantly stumbled upon your 9 holes of golf in the fog and was captivated by your tempo town swing. Getting to know Tooms came through Taco’s channel and the simplicity of his golf swing is something I desire. The three of you together is an infectious cinema of RU-vid golf and I’m so eager to watch the three of you compete and banter and laugh. Tipping my hat to you all!

As some background, this is 1 of 3 courses at The National. It is The Old course, and is ranked the lowest of the three in Australiam rankings at 27. Compared to Moonah at 12 and Gunnamatta at 9. But The Old is probably the most dramatic and scenic. Even the driving range at The National is spectacular. Has to be one of the best combination of golf courses for a single club anywhere in the world. And always love the Kwon, Taco, Tooms show. Beats anything on youtube and tv for fun, visual quality and golf!

There's a fourth course too, but not at the Cape Schank site. Long Island, which is being re-designed by OCM at present, sitting next to Peninsula Kingswood

The Gunnamatta course was originally The Ocean Course, designed by Thomson Wolveridge Perrett. It was a typical Peter Thompson course (blind shots, not rewarded for good golf, stupid hazard placements) and the members hated it, so they spent millions and had it redesigned into Gunnamatta. Everyone is much happier.

@@MatthewYii I'm pretty sure the Long Island course is by far the busiest of all four courses, given its proximity to Melbourne. I've heard it has more traffic than the other three courses combined (no idea if that is true or not). As a business, The National is a juggernaut. At the time when other courses where going broke, closing, selling up, and selling off the land (including Long Island), The National was cashed up and expanding. There were rumours of at least one sandbelt course approaching The National to purchase them, but something about the cost of clubhouse renovation resulted in the deal falling through.

All the content guys all give it a miss. They TRY to, believe me, but they can’t. RMGC is strictly no filming, no content creators and absolutely NOOOOO drones. Berkshire was here recently and got really pissy he couldn’t film. RMGC were happy to have him play, but he pulled the pin completely when he was read the policy. 😂
