22:36 you’re an absolute animal and the golf skills and control inspires. I juggle the ball any chance I can all day long and starting to feel it and that’s just a beautiful feeling! Being new to golf all the content from the RU-vid space has been massive in finding my game and doing so on a very humble budget. Great to have creators giving back and getting everybody a shot at that next step into the modern world. Having older tech I’ve felt has been a real tester in developing a feel for the club and different shots due to old balance issues etc. Ping eye 2 orange dot irons I use for instance are toe heavy and were a somewhat controversial club because of that. I had no idea until an old head was looking at the set and put me on. New tech is insane 💨

I was in West Palm Beach in January. Really wanted to play a round of golf. Booked the Par 3 not knowing anything about it, and rented clubs. Absolutely loved the place. Then I started finding RU-vid videos from Rick Shiels and others playing it. It was exceptional.

I’m new to golf and your videos have been helping me out a lot! I don’t have my own putter yet but the one you used looks pretty sweet.

When I was going to school at FAU, there was a 9 hole par 3 course on the beach like this. I loved playing it and miss it and the weather!

15:24 big fan of using a tee myself on the par 3 courses I’ve played. I also sometimes opt to go for turf just to get a more natural feel. Since par 3 is part of scoring itself but also short game do you practice both?

Any tips for a newbie golfer? I love going to the range and spending time on the putting green. But I’m so afraid to go out onto the course and play a round because I’m not great lol

Expert green reads from Matt the camera caddy man. Also talking about managing expectations even tour pros from 50-150 average proximity to the hole is like 20’ so keep your head up kid you definitely hit some good shots in the wind on a spectacular course
