@@MelissaDenise watching your video just made me think of something. So first let me say i love green beauty products. I used her other products and worked perfect. I forgot I had this treatment so used it last week and a lot of my hair was falling out. However after i styled it my hair felt so strong and nice. Watching your video im now thinking i used the product wrong. I did feel a lot of tingling on my scalp. But i thought that meant it was working well. After u said don't use it on your scalp im like o no i caused my hair to fall out. Im natural over 20 year's but i never used this type of treatment before. I watch all green beauty videos but i guess i forgot the part to not use it on ur scalp. Well now i have to regrow what i lost. Just goes to show how important it is to follow directions. Nice video you have a new subbie.
Love this video- it’s a great introduction to Melissa’s channel! One quick thing I want to share about protein treatments. THEY DON’T WORK OVERNIGHT ! After my first treatment, I noticed a difference. However, it was only with consistency (doing them every four weeks) and time (been doing them for a few months now) that I can *really* see a bigger, deeper difference that is longer lasting. This is probably true for any protein treatment out there. I’m a Green Beauty fan and highly recommend her channel and this treatment. The protein has helped my high porosity hair so much!
Thanks for sharing your experience. I just ordered mine and my hair has become highly porous after a couple of keratin treatments I did in 2019. The hair breakage I have been experiencing is insane. Does it help with that? What conditioner do you recommend? And have have you tried henna by any chance?
I thought the aphogee was just IT for protein treatments and IT AINT! This green beauty one is bomb!!! Ive never seen my curls pop like they did after the green beauty treatment! Its just tough to remember to incorporate it into my regimen bc its in the fridge.
I thought aphogee was black owned so I didn’t use it much. Stuck to Miele organic deep conditioner or mane choice. After find out mane choice is no longer black owned ( ingredients changed, compare to old bottle) and now I don’t use mane choice or aphogee anymore. Thinking about green beauty now.

The green beauty protein has done wonders for my hair. I only use it. I don’t like the hardness from aphogee and I didn’t get the same results on my medium to low porosity hair.
Try the protein shake from ecoslay better than aphogee with moisturizing proteins leaving hair soft after.. try it won’t regret my length and moisture retention from this is like never before
After the protein treatment, are you supposed to follow up with a deep conditioner afterwards? Or just rinse and style as usual? I have a bottle right now and I’ve never used it before and years prior I’ve always been deep conditioning with amazing results.
Never heard... but Wow! Thank you 😊 I'm under the dryer right now with the alphagee protein treatment now, plus, I've used the last bit of it 😁 time to try this new product 😉 Thanks again.
Just got finished with an aphogee treatment and already tired of the mess and steps. With this isn't it like combining both steps in one then all you have to do is dc afterwards?
It seems like no matter how many times I switch the conditioner the mix of 6 tablespoons and one cup of conditioner for high porosity, it always comes out so watery.
WARNING: This has nothing to do with this channel or this review. During September 2020, Green Beauty has been collecting money and not shipping products. From recent reviews for this and other of her products, I am not the only one with this experience. BEWARE PEOPLE.
I ordered products from GB in November and there was a 2 week delay before the item shipped. It was worth the wait! GB could do a better job communicating delays but they have always fulfilled my orders in the past. Plus with all the craziness that’s happening with the post office in my town, it took another week for me to get it. (I don’t blame her for that; that’s bad governing/sabotage!)
I’ve never tried a protein treatment. How often do you do one and what happens if you try it and you didn’t need it? Am so scared but everybody is doing it 😩
On average once a month or every 6 weeks, your hair will tell you how often. Always follow with a deep conditioner that isn't high in protein( Try As I am). Check out Green beauty's website so you can learn more on this subject.😊
