I haven’t watched any other reviews Nade but I will take your word for it. I like it for $22 it has some uniqueness to it I just wasn’t blown away by the actual scent itself but it’s nice.
am I the only one who finds it oddly peculiar to see lattaffas in the rack stores? with their growing popularity it obviously makes sense, but if I saw something like Hawas in the rack store I’d be like uhh is this real life?
i picked one of these up like a week or two ago and ive never tried le beau but this scent is definitely pretty good ill have to get my nose on le beau
If you like unisex fragrances. I think Sand + fog pistachio dream is probably the biggest banger I've smelt for the price. It was at Marshalls for $15 and smells like Almond vanilla ice cream. A good alternative to spice and black vanilla cremo
Agreed with you on all points, it’s nice but there are others which if you have them already (Le Beau, Virgin Island Water, etc) you probably wouldn’t reach for this much, plus it seems to become a skin scent rather quickly, like within an hour. By the way Gerard, if you like a smooth powdery lavender scent on top of a gin and tonic vibe, definitely check out the new Azzaro Most Wanted EDT Intense. Really nice new release which I think would be right up your alley.
This!!! I completely agree with you! It's not bad, but it's not something I'd reach for often because I have many other options. I'd probably wear this if I were going to the pool or beach.
I grabbed Tommy Vibrant Summer the other day, it's a good clean summer scent, it's not a Le.Beau clone but could but perhaps an inspired by. For the price they are charging it's a solid scent.
I definitely snagged this today. Honestly, I didn't have a strong reaction out the box. Mostly confusion and intrigue about the coconut water note, but as it dries down, it's starting to smell pretty damn good and interesting. I doubt it'll be at the top of anyone's list, but it's growing on me, and perhaps may end up being a solid cheapie?
@@gerardgeorgeI ended up returning it, I thought the scent would improve but it’s not good. I just ordered Jean Lowe Immortal seems to get raving reviews
Bro, I had it on my hand. But was not sure about it, but will keep it on my radar! Thanks for the review. Today at Ross saw Lacoste Red, first time seeing it!
I like this one, it's a slightly different summer smell. After a while the summer fragrances all start smelling the same so it doesn't hurt to have something with a slight twist. I like the coconut in this one though it's not listed as any of the notes. For 2p bucks, why not grab it?
Almost picked it up but I feel like I’d just wear it once then never again lol. If you were going for the coconut vibe would you still take Le Beau over this? Or different enough to not be redundant? And could you wear this as a gym scent in cooler weather?
@@manuelmikewa388 well what do you know, I happened to find one tonight and I just have to say for $25 it’s very nice. I have Le Beau as well and this Tommy release is different enough, it’s sort of in the same style but it’s a absolutely its own scent and worth picking up. The drydown is so pleasant. Great lil cheapie and blind buy worthy for sure.
@@gerardgeorge honestly, doesn’t sound bad for the money. We have Burlington everywhere here in Ft. Lauderdale so I’ll scoop it up! Thanks for the review
The only Tommy frag I ever had was years ago that I got bought for a thank you present for watering the neighbours plants while they were on holiday. It was horrible, super synthetic, chemical. Nothing nice about it. Scarred me for life off the brand lol.
You know I swear I’m not a snob… lol… kinda… but I have tried 3 Arab interpretation fragrances.. and I have just not been that impressed… I’m not hating but I got rockstar from dua.. a toni iommi bad monkey dupe.. it was so bad it smelled like when you fold wet towels before there dry and smell moldy.. and then I got the red lattafa ramz.. smells nothing like Alexandria and while it’s ok it smells super synthetic and weird… I also tried club de nuite and I honestly would just rather wear creed and reapply cuz it doesn’t have the wow factor.. I would like to try hawas cuz ive heard great things.. does anyone know a straight Arab banger that would knock my socks off?
I can appreciate this as I've been let down by many middle eastern fragrances that were supposed to be the best thing ever so the ones I own I actually wear and like. All the Dua's I've tried have blown me away. I can't speak to the Tony Iommi clone but I do know that scent is polarizing to begin with.
