We were at Hollywood and Vine the day hugs came back and it was absolutely magical. The food was great and the characters were all so very patient with my shy kiddo. Minnie Mouse is an especially great hostess! I can recommend the shrimp mac and cheese as a great option. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, it was served with arugula and fennel, and the whole combination was delicious. My kiddo filled up on rolls so barely touched her meal but she did tell Minnie that it was delicious. She had the kids mac and cheese. My husband has allergies and they were extremely accommodating. Can’t say enough. It was one of the highlights of our trip. So glad you enjoyed it too, Molly!
Thank you for filming your interactions with the characters here and of course in other videos. As adults who still want to meet them, it’s sometimes tough to not be awkward. So thank you for showing us it really can just be a simple and cute conversation followed by a photo. ❤

Wow...Molly changed my mind on a character dining location for the second week in a row...Now both Chef Mickey's AND NOW Hollywood and Vine are go-to's for me when I go in March!
My family and I were just there last week for dinner. My 2 year old granddaughter had wonderful interactions with the characters and the food was good. So yes, totally worth it!
Molly no one does character interactions like you do🤣. .I have been to Hollywood and Vine when it was buffet. The food was meh so may have to try it again ..
We went there last September. Fiancee just wanted to get out of the sun and eat. This was the only sit-down restaurant available. We ate like normal and suddenly Pluto, Goofy, Minnie and Mickey show up in their Halloween costumes. It was a great surprise. There were no characters in the park except for the restaurants. Food was tasty, dessert was really good. We talked to some cast members dining on their off time. They had great insights about the the park. For an impromptu choice it has been a lovely memory. Halloween Minnie sits on our memory shelf to this day.
In almost 40 years of going to WDW we have only done 2 character meals, my son just wasn't that into them. One was the Garden Grill and the other was breakfast at H&V way back when it was MGM. My son remembers it to this day because Chip and Dale were there (his favs). I was sitting with my back to the room, he and my Mama were sitting facing the room. Chip or Dale (I can't remember) snuck up behind me motioning for them not to react and grabbed me. I jumped and screamed, Chip (we are going to go with that) jumped but didn't scream and the entire restaurant died laughing after they got over the shock. In all our many years of going, that is one of my son's favorite memories.
My husband and I took our then 4 year old to Hollywood and Vine. She LOVED if!! It was during Covid so she had to social distance which was a bummer for all of us BUT she still had a great experience. Her face made the cost so worth it. We heard some bad reviews on the food but we all really enjoyed ours. Great experience and we would eat there again. Thanks Molly for yet another great video of yours!
Wonderful review! I ate here last year for dinner and for breakfast the week breakfast reopened we were very pleased with both meals. I had the Turkey and thought it was very tasty. The breakfast food was also top notch. I would love to see a review on the Plaza restaurant and/or the diamond horseshoe I have never ate at either of them but I am intrigued
Jan 2021 we went to Minnie's dine. My 5yo daughter was scared and just covered her eyes when the characters came around when they were just socially distant but she wishes now that she didn't. Anyways on my server recommendation I got the Salmon and it was AMAZING! The characters were great even though she covered her eyes. Props to them for trying.
Hi Molly! I absolutely love watching your videos and a big thank you because it definitely helped me a lot with my recent trip! I did eat at Hollywood & Vine on May 13th for lunch! Worth every penny! You are right, that ppl don’t talk about this place. But I loved every moment of it. We meet with all the characters twice! It’s crazy how they literally went to each table and took their time with everyone. Our server was great. We were stuff from the food and didn’t want to order dessert. She was like take it to go ! Best advice ever! Remember you can ask for coffee to go too!! We were highly happy with the food! So if you can get reservations to go here! Do it because it was worth it!
Food looks great! Last time I went to Hollywood and vine was December 2019, back when it was a buffet. Not the greatest buffet food ever but definitely not bad. Had plenty of choices so had something for everyone. The character interaction is awesome and my family had such a great time there. The photo of my daughter with Santa goofy from Hollywood and vine has prime position on my fridge and always makes me smile.

I could watch Molly all day. Great sense of humor and just seems like a good human being! I’ve always stayed away from H&V for dinner because I did breakfast twice since reopening and it was awful.
We definitely prefer this one over Chef Mickey's. It's not as good as Topolino's, Garden Grill or Tusker House, but it's a good character dining choice. 👌 It is definitely the easiest of the character dining 🍽 to get a reservation for. We've even been able to get it on walk-ups.
We went there in the first week of May and the food was waaay over priced and mediocre. But that said I'm 5 months pregnant with 3 little kids (6 3.5 and 2 year) so it was convenient to come inside during the 4 pm summer heat and we didn't have to wait in lines for the character hugs and pictures with mickey, minnie, goofy and pluto!! But I didn't realize they would charge per person for the kids too so my 3.5 year old who only ate fries was still charged for a full meal. Also we don't eat meat (only kosher and halal) so there wasn't much options for us, we had salmon (which had a strong fishy smell for me even thoughi didn't have morning sickness anymore) and risotto. Salad and bread were ok it was just garden salad and the dressing didn't even have much salt. The bread was pretty basic. And for dessert I ordered apple pie with vanilla ice cream and what I got was not apple pie! It was apple pie filling with triangle crackers with basic vanilla ice creamon the side! So family of 4 (2 year old wasn't charged) was charged over $200 whereas usually in other restaurants it's about $75 for us for reference. We still had a great time but I wouldn't come again.
Imagine if someone goes into the restaurant dressed up as Eddie Valiant (Bob Hoskins) and asks why either eating at the place where his office is located
We went in August for the Halloween Dine and the characters definitely were the only good part. The food was a w f u l and took forever, and the kid at the table that shared the long booth with our table was literally crawling on us and throwing food. My only regret for that trip was spending so much money on this place
Sorry, the food at Hollywood and Vine is not good, it’s almost disgusting. I know you may want to bring your kids here, but be prepared to leave hungry after you’ve paid all that money. I visited this restaurant a short time ago, and I loved seeing the characters, but you can also see some characters for free in Hollywood Studios, including Mickey and Minnie. However, Tusker House and Topolino’s character meals are definitely worth your money! But Hollywood and Vine has awful food, they really should be ashamed. It has to be the worst character meal on Disney World property.
