4:25 You are correct, it is in the General FAQ somewhere, so a digimon that leaves trash does not get to resolve its "On Deletion" effect(s). However, in this case, the Gizumon AT is being bottom-decked, the "On Deletion" effect has already started, so no problem.

Super fun games! I can't wait to get my Monzae cards in. Thanks for showcasing such fun decks! As far as the legality of the Gizmon play, it IS correct. On Deletion effects activate when a card is IN the trash. That's why Omnimon Merciful Mode can ignore them: he moves them from the trash before they get the chance to activate. Gizmon is fully deleted and IN the trash, and THEN they activate the effect to bottom deck.

No worries my guy! Monzaemon is actually really fun and unique so it should be a blast. My locals we only pulled 1 Monzaemon in the 3 or 4 booster boxes we opened which is wild 🤪 Yeah that interaction makes a lot of sense, I’m lucky I’ve got a forum in which I can just ask and people will let me know 😁😁😁

With regard to the Gizmon, i think it works fine because the effect has already begun. The reason merciful mode prevents it is because merciful's effect uas to completely resolve before any other effects are triggered and when the deleted digimon is put to the bottom, it is no longer in the trash to begin to resolve its effect and thus it fizzles. It is the same situation with called by the grave. I might be wrong but im pretty sure this is how it works - someone correct me if not (with reference to the rules if possible).

As long as the Digimon is in the trash to activate the effect (not just meet its trigger) then the effect goes through. Its only when it's moved in between its trigger and being able to activate/resolve does it fizzle. I guess a good example would be if another Giz triggered too but you bottom decked it with the first one's effect before it could activate to also tuck.

You got it! Check the description now and you should see it, that being said the sunarizamon is getting switched out… it specifies black digimon so it doesn’t work with shin sadly 🫠

Man this video coming out not too long after I pulled an Alt Art ShinMonzaemon feels like the universe is telling me to build something. I was going to do it anyway, but it's funny that it happened. Great games, really showed off the general strategy for Monzaemon. Looking forward to playing the deck in Bt14 and 15 with the new support!

Dude I use an Adobe feature to generate the captions and then edit them to be correct, you should see the wild things it tries to put on there sometimes 😂😂😂 I should have caught that one though 😅 thanks for pointing that out!

Heya Moose! On 4:10, when the Anubis fella bottom-decked the Gizmon (owner of the [On Deletion]) effect, it was a legal move as the deletion effect of [Gizmon] is already being resolved (not pending), therefore it wouldn't stop the effect from fully resolving should the owner decide to return the card itself for the effect.

Anubis could have won game 1 if he used callling in xt, grabbed both nidhogs and bluemera, played proto, swing with him, lose anubis, digivolve to bluemera on top of eyesmon and use alice and to play another Anubis for free. Edit: the only information i didnt have is if he had another anubis in hand
