I don't know you caught on, but the horse Senshi ate and the kelpie from earlier are both named Anne, meaning he named the kelpie after the horse he was forced to eat. But then he had to kill and eat the kelpie after it tried to do the same to him. So now that scene is even more tragic.

6:40 - It's not a big deal, but just as a small reminder, when Laios says "human", that encompasses all races including halflings, elves and dwarves. What Laios is, is technically what we *traditionally* know as "human", but they're referred to as "tall man" instead, because saying "human" pretty much groups all those races together.

If I recall correctly the term "human" also includes Gnomes and interestingly enough Ogres. There's also an aside that describes what makes certain races "human" and others "demi-human" --apparently, the deciding factor is the number of bones in their bodies, which is the same for all human species regardless of their size. Orcs, for example, are demi-humans because they have differently structured legs which end in hooves instead of feet, and as a result, have skeletons with a different number of bones compared to the human species.

@@grim6129 No, the raymondthrone7197 up above is correct. Ogres/oni, like Inutade, are "humans" too. All "human" races are catergorized by having the same bone count, and the horns of ogres count as being part of the skull. Orcs are demi-humans though.

about Marcille immediately getting mana sickness, it was mentioned in a previous episode half-foots have way less mana/ability to produce magic if not basically nothing compared to tall-mans and especially long lived races which is why you almost never see a mage half-foot

Gnomes appear to have high magic affinity by comparison (enough so that an entire school of magic is named for them), which interestingly implies that size doesn't really correlate with magical ability. It just seems that certain races are more apt for it than others.

@@raymondthrone7197 Gnomes and Elf have opposing principle of magic btw. To short it out, Gnome "let" magic do their own pace while Elf "command" magic to do specific action. Like artists vs scientists

@@hafirenggayuda And that makes Gnomes have high mana efficiency. Because they hardly use mana to cast magic, but instead let the spirits do it themselves, their mana is seen to be used only to feed the spirits.

i think dwarven bodies get more tired since their naturally more muscular? which means (again, i think) less body fat which means you experience exhaust, weakness and overall fatigue more

It's never been confirmed by the author Ryoko Kui, but since she created a ton of fanarts for the RPG characters she created and romanced in-game it is safe to say she is a gamer, which led many to think the gruesome story of Senshi's origins was directly inspired by the game Dwarf Fortress. If you never heard about Dwarf Fortress, it is an insanely difficult independent game where you control a group of Dwarf settlers trying to establish their own fortress. Most adventures end up with the same kind of terrible fate wiping your budding colony, when a miner digs into a lava flow, or awakes an ancient monstrosity while looking for ore.

People thinking senshi mannerism TURN into a delicate pretty elf but he never really change the way he act, it's just it give entirely different vibe because it's a different body He kept flipping his hair because his helmet couldn't fit anymore and it's something that usually hold is humongous hair and beard in place. He usually only talk when it's necessary, which usually in regards to food or for the team's well being. He literally can't hold all his heavy equipment now and he couldn't do magic despite having enough mana so.. standing pretty is the only thing he coud do in

Just everything has a winged lion theme in the dungeon since the start. From the statues to the fountains, the coins, the living armor, Kensuke, and of course the cover of the Lunatic Magician tome. That's your connection right there.
