I too couldn’t help wondering if he’s just scatting gibberish. I played the fast part back half speed. I think I can catch phrases here n there. To me it sounded something like “everywhere we’re at, ridicule em, ripping it kicking and flipping the rap, go and attack, killing it when I spat” something like that. It might be sloppy at points but he’s definitely saying something and if not getting close to it. I don’t think he’s better than Harry. But if anything he’s the first mc I’ve seen who is close to that level so I give him props
Other fast part at 11:40, Some parts sound somewhat repetitive but again at half speed I’m tryna break it down. kinda sounds like “everyone around know that I rip it, know that he’s here, they know that I rip it, they know that I flip it, I rap and I smash, I govern rap, I rip and expand going hot and I’m going hard and I’m good with that.” Again I still consider Harry the goat of freestyle but this dude is very impressive. @@Jonzoo Juiceworld is closer to macks level imo.... i give clayton his props for being a decent rapper, and some of this was off the top free's, but those quad speed bars he didnt have enough time to make them up cus u have to already know what ur going to say before spitting it at that speed and at no point did he have that time. also unless ur gonna nail it crisp and clear theres no point even doing it. slower tempo and great bars is more impressive over the long run. tbf, i need to see a lot more of clayton before i pass judgement. cool drip though lol
@@skibbadabba for sure, way too early to call it. Juiceworld was dope, no doubt. I personally think Supernatural is closest to Harry Mack’s level. Took me a long time to admit Harry Mack is better than the OG freestyle goat from the golden era. I think at some point you gotta ask what’s the metric? If it’s speed I think Clayton is in the running and so is Eminem. But I give Mack the title because he checks the box for actual dope bars, crowd control, relevance, clarity, creativity, rhythm and cadence control just to name a few of the things he does at a supreme level. On top of that his personality / intentionality and the positivity are icing on the cake. He made freestyle rap fun and relevant even for non hip hop heads and he paved a new lane to make freestyle rap a viable career. As you can see I’m a true fan of Harry Mack. I only titled the vid this way because it was the first time a cypher caused me to ask myself this question. And I agree with you, for me at a certain point the machine gun delivery of super fast raps loses appeal if it’s not clear enough to make out. Thanks for your thoughts
It was definitely a recycled section that the other emcee did sounding like its lightning speed, but some of that is just a trick while rapping to sound faster than they are actually rapping, but it was still super nice. I will agree, this is the closest to being on par with Harry that I have seen/heard thus far. No matter what man has skill. Time will tell just how much.
I watched the Kyle Beats one and when I saw the other pop up in my feed I knew it had been done before. I'm sure that's where he got the idea. But in the future please don't say someone can go head to head with Harry Mack.
You actually said that "its not clear who is better" right after saying that Clayton recycled (Laws of Attraction) less than a minute after he used it the first time. Its clear he's falling back on familiar schemes. H Mack recycles schemes and rhymes but he does it in different raps on different days. Clayton is uber talented just dont compare him to the greatest freestyle rapper to ever live.

@@Jonzoo I think Leen is more precise with his words. All three are very very talented and I couldn't do half of what any of them do on their worst day. But HMack is so far ahead that I can't even compare the others to him. I was really impressed with Clayton's skills but like I said before, you can't compare anyone to Harry Mack.

How are you impressed with the speed of, by your own admission, incomprehensible words. You said I can't even understand what he's saying, but man that speed though. 🤣 focus more on enunciation and actually off the top... rather than rehearsed punchlines.
