Am I the only one who gets so much joy from watching Gabi’s videos. Today’s was certainly heart-warming. How sweet when he fed the puppies. God bless his heart.
Omg I am American and my family and I stayed in Chennai and Pondicherry, Auroville, Kodaikanal, Coorg, Mysore, and Bangalore in the month of October!!! I absolutelyLOVED IT! It was the best trip I’ve ever had! ❤❤❤❤❤
@@prajvalrao4871South India, especially Tamil Nadu is the highest tourist recieved state in India. The state attracted more foreign tourists than any other state. You can check it.
I'm glad you liked Pondicherry. I was born there and spent a few years in the Eastern Ghats, namely the Shevaroy Hills of Yercaud with my family. Ay 60 years old, I still remember my happy times in India and always will!!
Thanks, Gabi: So great to see what Pondicherry is like now. I spent so much time there during the S.E. Asian Tsunami, staying in Auroville working in local villages cleaning up damage, etc. Auroville was awesome back then. During COVID many people left and it's really gone through some rough changes. I was always hoping that they would complete the Matramandir but that isn't likely. Yet, as you say, the contemplation chamber is awesome. Back in the day you'd just go, no signing up, put the socks on and you'd have 20 minutes inside, etc. My favorite thing in Auroville was the Banyon tree outside of the Matramandir. The real soul of Auroville. :) Enjoy ~
Pondicherry City is one of the beautiful Cosmopolitan Coastal City of India with a fusion of French and Tamil Indian Architecture and Culture. In Pondicherry City you can taste Indian, French, Spanish, Italian and Vietnamese Cuisines. Here are bucket list destinations to explore in Pondicherry-(1) Paradise Beach (2) Serenity Beach (3) Veerampattinam Beach (4) Chunnambar Island (5) Bharati Government Park (6) Ousteri Lake (7) French War Memorial (8) Pondicherry Botanical Gardens. Pondicherry City is also popular for its Chocolates and Bakery Food Items. There is another such Coastal Town near Pondicherry City is Tharangambadi in neighboring Tamil Nadu State, which is known as Little Denmark in India with Danish Architectures. Cheers 🙂
@@supratikchaudhuri2156 It all depends on yours budget. You can find both affordable budgeted Hotels and expensive luxurious hotels in Pondicherry City.
I am from Germany and I visited Pondicherry twice. Once in 2013 and also in 2015. I really love this place. I also stayed at Serenity Beach and we use to drive around and explore the area on a scooter. I also really loved Paradise Beach. Did you ever go there? So beautiful ❤ lovely memories of this place
Hi Gabi, my name is Babu. I am from Pondicherry but I live in California now. Your video brought me to tears when I saw you feeding the little puppies. You are so kind. God bless you!! It brought me so many memories back, thank you for sharing. I love Pondicherry!
Happy to see that you're back in India! It's how I first discovered your channel. Inspiring to see how you engage with the people and the world around you, hope to learn from that
One can feel that the "air" of AV and Pondy touches your beautiful soul. Hope Sri Aurobindo and the Mother be always with you. And thanks for taking me back to that magic inspiring places! Regards from Brazil.
Lovely and clean city……..you seem to be in much better spirits…..keep it up…….and thanks for sharing…….Auroville is very beautiful…..and unique…..❤️❤️❤️🇺🇸
I LOVE Puducherry!!! 💕 Your videos are lovely. Last year I went to Puducherry and Auroville as well. Puducherry is very beautiful, clean, tranquil. Excellent to chill and have a nice time. Sri Aurobindo's ashram is a must visit, that place is so peaceful. Also, near the Ashram there is the Vinayak temple, a temple of Shri Ganesh. And that temple is so beautiful, exquisite paintings and so peaceful. Another must visit. Auroville is a whole other experience. I loved it, but as you say, it takes time to understand how it works. The Matri Mandir blew my mind 🤯. It is something like no other in the world. The level of sophistication that went into the building of the Matri Mandir is outstanding. Honestly, I have never felt anything like what I experienced there. Maybe, in a few years, I will come back to Auroville and stay for a few weeks.
Auroville was build out of a barren land. There were barely any trees and water was scarce. Red soil used to flow into the ocean during the monsoons and turn the sea red. Now there is a dense forest. It is incredible.
You're a good man ! People who loves dogs is of course a good man !!!!!! ❤ I have been two times in Pondicherry and Auroville and next month I will go. Thank's for your videos.
The French Quarter here is so charming; even the buildings are on a first-name basis. If these walls could talk, they'd probably say, 'Bonjour!' in an impeccable accent. I already visited some of the cities of India to film one of our episode of our TV show but I haven't been in this side of India. Hopefully, my travel dart lands again in India and might as well visit that part.
Oh Gabi, yet again my heart was full watching this video. like you i have also been to Pondicherry, and also Serenity beach. i loved the Large Gandhi statue on the promenade. i would like to visit Auroville one day also. My heart burst when you saw those little puppies and how you knew that they were hungry and needed something. As a fellow animal lover i thank you for you being so generous and helping them. So glad you are having another wonderful experience In India, keep posting we are all loving it.
Great video, your took me back in time. I’m South African and my first trip abroad was a business trip to Chennai…we spent all our time doing very little business and almost 100% exploring Chennai and surrounding towns ;-) we visited Pondicherry as well and watching this video reminds me of my time there. Since then, the travel bug bit me and I’ve been blessed to have traveled to many countries around the world. Also in Pondicherry, I had the most amazing (first and only time) mango ice cream (that in itself was an experience)
Please visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Laxadweep islands one is in Bay of Bengal and another one is in Arabian sea both are blessed with white sand beaches, 🏖️ people less , blue and green water proper heavenly vibe .
Yes! When I retire in the US, I would like to rent a motorbike and explore India too! Cheers! This life experience was not on my radar screen until I discovered your channel. Peace! ✌
Thank you so much for that video. I went to Pondicherry every January for over 10 years in the 90’s! Found that meditating at the Samadhi of Mother and Sri Aurobindo is my strongest memory of a powerful place! I visited Auroville a few times but wished I had slept there to really taking in the atmosphere more fully! Will probably never go back so watching that video has been precious !🙏🏻🌈
This was such a lovely video! I visited both places in the late ‘90s and I’m really surprised how beautiful they are today! They seem so much brighter and in better condition. After seeing this I really want to return someday!❤🙏
Gabi, you are such a kind and gentle person. Your videos are so interesting and more than this, you are an open person to the different culture, always looking for what is nice and lovely on those places, never ctisizing or talking badly of people . Thank you
Such a chill video I love it !! And what you did for those puppies is exactly what I did for a litter I came across near Goa. I've decided to travel with puppy biscuits wherever I go.. starving strays are common here in India.
I am an indian from mumbai and love your adventures ..kinda made me guilty to not explore my own india and holiday abroad mostly..thanks a lot bro ..let me know if i can do anything for your while in India ❤
Love watching ur vlogs... It's my daily dose of information, travel and entertainment all at the same time... and i just luv the way gabi explains everything... lots of love from jaipur ❤
Really nice video! Pondicherry is an exciting place. just visited it a few weeks back. Loved the French cafes and architecture. I'm currently staying in Bangalore, and many people visit Pondicherry from Bangalore for the weekend or so, just a 6 hours drive
Thank you for this video. I rode my motorcycle all around the south of India earlier this year and spent about 10 days in Pondicherry and Auroville. Yes, Auroville is confusing, but I really enjoyed the vibe and met some great people. Thanks for the reminders
Hey brother, i have been a great fan of u and your channel video. You are so naive and humble person . All your India tour videos are so informative and inspiring. Lots of love and blessings to you 🤗🤗🤗
I was in Pondicherry in 2014 when touring Southern India with Overseas Adventure Travel, a US company. I think we stayed there just two nights. Unfortunately Auroville was not included in our tour. That was my second trip to India and I would love to go back one of these days.
Thanks, Gabi. I've been watching and enjoying your videos. Please don't stop. You are doing amazing job. I'd love to visit Pondicherry one day soon. Thank you for feeding the little puppies. I hope you are doing well 🙏 😘
@ridewithgabi No worries, mate 👍 Anytime. I hope to see more videos on Vietnam 🇻🇳. I'll be heading there in February in a couple of months. Can't wait. You take care of yourself and all the best in your travels toi ✨️ 😘 🇦🇺
The world needs to wake up to india. India is a beautiful country and safe. More tourists should come to India to develop its economy. In 2030, India will achieve superpower status
Thank you for your wonderful kindness to the skinny hungry dogs! The food you bought for them was great; but then you where so thoughtful that you got the little guys some water to drink - I subscribe for your kindness!
Auroville sounds like a utopian paradise with its emphasis on unity and sustainability. The concept of a place where they don't use regular money is mind-blowing! Has anyone volunteered there and can share their experience?
Excellent video Gabi. Good coverage of Pondicherry though you left some of the important places like the famous botanical Garden tat is mentioned in the book / movie "Life of Pi, " . Your statistics of the Auroville inmates from 30 different countries is the high light of your video.... 😊The puppy pulling n playing with your shoe lace is cute... Well done Gabi... Good luck for more videos 🎉
Hello Gabi sir ....also visit northeast India. also called seven sisters of Indian states. for exploring more beautiful places of nature...and also don't miss Darjeeling and Sikkim & Meghalaya ☺️
Tres Bein Mate.. I am an AUSTRALIAN Tamil South Indian.. Melbourne VIctoria... Wonderful .. I am a native of COimbatore district Kerala and OOTY are neighbours- Brits History... Kongu and Kerala cuisine fusion.. Cosmo to Metro city transition mode now... Great Video...
How beautiful you make it all look. I live here now. Grew up here. Matrimandir meditation is of course a must-have experience where you can hear the silence. Your video was thoroughly enjoyable. I loved that you are kind and you say the loveliest things about this country especially Auroville and Pondy, which I so love. God bless. Keep making vlogs. You are good at it. Mille grazie
Thanks for sharing about Auroville, even I never heard about this centre in India dedicated to SriAurobindo’s practices, though I am an enthusiast and practicing meditation. Just for information We got so many beautiful places for meditation and spritual growth such as Vipassana Meditation centre Igatpuri, Sidha yoga centre Ganeshpuri, Isha Yoga centre coembtore, Art of Living centre Bangalore, and many more beautiful meditation centres across the country teaching various types of meditations. ❤
I have been to Pondicherry 10 yrs ago and it was one of the memorable trip I had . God Bless You And Your Family With Good Health Happiness And Prosperity 🙏
Great video, but small mistake about Auroville : Residents are mostly Indians and French, Italians comes 4th. Italians still make the best pizzas though.
Gabi, first time to your channel. I am originally from TN and have visited Pondy several times. You’re a very kind human and thank you for showing us around Pondicherry!
ooooh the puppies, so sweet!! yes i have been to both places, i loved pondicherry and I agree, I also found Auroville confusing haha... I didn´t really get how it works but loved my meditation in the golden mandir
Well done on finding the Drone man. Your VLOGS of your india tours are lovely. Good job. You must of met alot of Indian colleagues in the hospitality sector. Esp your time in UAE.
