My heart broke a little when the Alice Box said "friend". I'm sure he really appreciates you trying to tell his story and also sympathizing with what happened to him. I hope whoever owns him next gets to learn more about him, and also restores the head, such as adding the hair back and removing the baby body. It's absolutely cruel what has happened to indigenous people throughout the centuries 😔

That head looks like it was stolen off of a Native American statue and then disrespectfully put onto a baby body, his head scalped as if the person that did this made it into a "trophy." This item was in Texas, honestly, not surprised someone did this. Very sad. :/ I think whoever put this item up for sale put the haunted sign either as a "joke" because it is a Native American head or just to make an extra buck. Edit: I finally got to the part that Celina addresses who she thinks it is, spot on gurl! Great minds.

The doll looks like Walter from Jeff Dunham and if you don’t know anything about him, he is a comedian/ventriloquist and portrays Walter as the mean, grumpy old man.

So I have a bit of a gift myself - and it's one I'm very much working on, and that's clairsentience - I tend to pick up feelings and emotions from objects, and sometimes, if it's powerful enough I can pick up on residual energies through videos like this or through other media. Honestly, I was getting such a strong emotion through all of this, and such a mixed emotion too - not quite sorrow, but definitely hurt, regret, maybe, not for something that he (definitely a male energy, I agree) has done, but for something that has been done too or around him, and a sense of loss. Absolutely no malicious or dark feelings coming through for me. Definitely someone who needs a hug and to be told it's OK!

Could the tent be a teepee? I’m getting Native American vibes hard from that head, the story also seems really similar to the ransacking of villages and the trail of tears which if any tragedy could lead to trapped/lingering spiritual activity that era is prime. OMG!!! I'm surprised to see him again... This is a sculpt of a very real man who is sadly no longer with us whose name was Jack Spencer his Native name was Crow Flies, his daughters Native name is Lil Squaw... He has clearly been passed through many hands after being lost in a fire (where we thought we lost him as people stole from the property after the fire in 86 when they would go through the rubble, we also lost audio tapes of the family as well) here in Texas but I am so glad to see him in safe hands finally. He is not malicious in any way shape or form and is more of a protector and I would love if you would keep him so that we know where he is finally after all these years!!❤

I stg I bought dolls last year from Goodwill that were labeled "Even Haunted Dolls Need Love Too". I named them Peter and Sophia and they only come out of the attic during Halloween. They are next to my antique Ouija board from the same store lol.

Growing up in the 80s out west in AZ and Colorado, but spending a lot of time on the road in CA New Mexico and all the west. We would pass roadside tourists shops all the time, and tobacco shops, and even native American tourists shops that would have a Native American Chif or something similar set up outside on a bench, or just inside the store. The face and material is exactly what I have seen all my life. These where super popular in the 50 through the 80s. I would think it's a safe bet that this is a head from one of those.

My gut reaction was the idea that the head was taken off of a mannequin of an indigenous person in a museum exhibit and that a spirit tied to another object in the exhibit latched on to the mannequin as a way to feel “human” again

There was a indeginous camp in California in the 1850’s around December I believe. That got attacked while they were sleeping with fire there were men with guns, but I believe some of them did escape through the mountains to safety. ( the fire then spread to the battalion camp that started the fire)

Amethyst is incredibly protective in so many ways. Keeping a small piece or two in your pocket when out and about can keep you safe from negativity on the go, and placing some under your pillow can help ward off bad dreams. It can be used to charge/cleanse other crystals as well! =) Placing amethyst in the four corners of a room can set up a protective barrier that keeps negative spirits/energy out of that specific room/any you place them in. Going bigger with that, placing/burying amethyst at the four corners of your house places a protective barrier around the whole thing and if you know your exact property line you can bury amethyst at the four corners of that to protect the entire property. =) I hear mixed reviews though of whether or not you have to unbury and check on them/clean them to make sure the energies remain untainted and keep protecting anything or if you just one and done place them then your good to go. I can't vouch for the larger areas such as the whole house or whole property methods, but I used to live in a house with some weird energies that would chase me down the hall to my bedroom when I was home alone. I had the amethyst barrier in my room, and it always stopped there like it wasn't able to come in. Was nice to have my room be a safe haven in a mildly haunted house! Also, Hematite rings are very good for dealing with negative energies, and that doesn't stop at spirits. It can warn you about negative human beings as well! Hematite rings absorb negativity to protect you from it (giving it a gentle wash here and there can cleanse it away as well as purifying with smudge sticks/palo santo/your preferred cleansing method) so when you're around a person/spirit/high energy area thats extremely negative the ring will actually shatter on your finger because it's absorbed too much too fast. When the ring breaks, get out of there! Or at the least be very aware and weary of who your with/what your facing so you can properly protect yourself. =)

The "roadway"/"highway"/"land" could mean that their home was destroyed by someone taking their land to make a road. That kind of thing happened a lot for indigenous people.

To the question about how it got in the vessel it said "Rosaline" could it be the person who got it trapped in there?

So many times, like the Conjuring house spirits recently with S+C, spirits will relay the energy we bring to them, and as humans we can be harsh or fearful at times we may not need to be.
