joseph thx a lot if thats true for this spool! i'll get the exact info for it and list it on ebay 10 day auction starting at 98 cents and see what happens...feel free to watch and see what happens.👍😀
That lantern you can also use the battery operating candles .they are good when you lose electricity from Stroms. Very useful and a great another Yahtzee video. Peace & love 💛 💚 💜 💙 👍 ☺ ✌ .
I am a commercial electrician I use those parts every day u should get all u can and sort them and take them to electrical contractors in ur area they will buy that stuff in a heartbeat
I would be worried they would think I stole it all from them and am trying to sell it back. I'll give it a try if I ever come across a score like this though.
BIGORANGEHUNTER exactly! They wont care that you got it for free from a dumpster since theyre buying it from you for a fraction of the cost at the store, you win, they win, everyones happy!
You should go back during the day when the Construction supervisor is there. Then ask him if he would mind if you went through the scrap dumpster. He may say go for it....
As a seasoned scrapper myself, my rule of thumb has always been if it's full of nothing but metals, they are scrapping it themselves. If ya got skids and trash and whatnot in there, it's fair game.
Its crazy watching your channel grow like it has. You’re content has always been really really good and just seeing you progress since under 100 subs. Keep it up! Faithful watcher since almost day 1
Loving your videos lately. Seemed like for a little while you were struggling with what kind of videos you wanted to make. It's great to see you back doing what comes natural.
I went down to my local Target as they too are doing renovations but they fenced in the dumpster- no good diving for me! May go down tomorrow and talk to the construction supervisor- it worked for me on a school that was being renovated and now I have dibbs on the school's 3 dumpsters all the time now. I pull copper wire, aluminum and steel out of their dumpsters every day. So asking does pay off some time.
If you have advance auto parts in your area, check it out. My local ones are throwing away nice displays and loose thick copper wire. And then last night the one advance auto parts threw away a lot of new Bosch windshield wipers that you could sell online! Looking forward to see if you get some scores there!
Never even thought there was so much waste on construction sites. Empress by your skill at throwing into the totes. Glad you found this dumpster. God bless
Also, you would see an additional dumpster there for GENERAL DEBRIS ... if that one was METAL ONLY. They want to make sure all the different trades don’t fill inappropriately.
It physically hurts my entire soul! Begging him to get a truck, shit even a 2600i, 2200 or little ram or nissan or little toy. I run a shit box f150 and do about $450--$700 a day in just scrap, my weeks are about 2-4k in sell-ables but you just have to know who wants to buy.
You could always rent a U-haul or Home Depot truck for a day like $20-30? And make that much and more back with all that construction scrap and extruded aluminum wire boxes and lights, wire, and tin, etc. the spool of wire pays for it and the rest is gravy. I’ve noticed with some construction dumpsters, they are there one day, then gone or empty the next! Keep up the good work!
I found their website. I think they just pick up when they are ready to. So I think you're safe at doing what you're doing. Just keep doing your.but as always stay safe in all you do thing.
I'm very interested in buying your fishing lures boxes. I would like to talk to you about it. Maybe make a deal on a lot of them. Please holla back, don't mean to be a pain in the back side. Thanks again. Love all the videos you make.
Dumpster just like that where I am from they have to pay by the pound for them to take it away .so target probably be happy if you took some of it and lighten their load and there is a massive amount in there I hope it same there.have blessed night.😊😘p.s.thank for sunflower seeds.
Brother fill a bin or 2 with all those coupling and fittings hit a local electrical company, they may pay decent cash for those. More times than not I've made out better that way. Great score.
It is just a construction waste dumpster I believe. Free game. They have to pay by the pound or ton to dispose of. If it was to be recycled it would be separated for metal and/or pallets and etc. I do not know how they could separate that mess at any recycle yard or facility. Unless it is some super state of the art place or they are low tech and using free labor or something. At least this was my experience when I worked in construction.
let me tell you, working for an electrical contractor out of san francisco, most of that stuff is conduit/flex fittings and yes, electricians are that wasteful.
Hello pooch I bet you that your biggest score on this video I bet you wish you can find more dumpsters like this keep up the good work be safe and don't get too hot out there
Great score. A truck would be pointless. For every good find like this one, theres' a lot more average days. Fuel, insurance, taxes, the upkeep would destroy your income. Keep it up SV
Yessa!!! Great SCORE! Thanks for the ride along! Hi Ms. Pooch! Love that lil fur baby♥ You should write a children's book...Ms. Pooch's adventure! I know your super busy, just a happy thought.
That dog is so happy to be with you all he wants is to be out and about with you Ps have you ever thought about a sidecar or a trailer for your scooter
Laws vary by state but I think in most cases a dumpster and it's contents are considered private property. So I guess it depends on if the owner presses charges.
Didn't mean to stir up some folks about that load you hauled on the scooter. I guess my point was it seems like everytime I bend the rules a little bit I get caught. Just like on that video I up loaded the other day "Busted and Arrested" I'm not mad at the cop, he was just doing his job, I sure am thankful for that other deputy that came along, saveed my ass. It'sa blooming mystery to me how you get so much hauled, you gotta be staying real busy.
Just wanted you to know that the inventory you got is worth way more than you probably know . Being that most of it is new stuff you would get better dollar value out of it if you were to find an electrical supply house and ask them if they would be interested in buying them by the piece. Some of those pieces are over a dollar a piece if purchased from Home Depot or Lowes. I would check for a home town electrical supply house though and let them make you an offer. Scrapping them won't get you a whole lot but to a supply house that sees the value in them would probably garner you more money, especially if you are willing to compromise on the price a little. I used to purchase a lot of electrical supplies for a factory I worked for and that stuff is not cheap.
I thought of you today, someone gave me a whole house of contents and here I sit with a little dodge neon. No way I could take full advantage of the situation. Fortunately I only lived 4 blocks away so I was able to make 4 trips and made a pretty good score. it was a 3 bed room 2 bath house.
To bad Chris and Hollie, from "The Chris and Hollie Show" were not with you on this find. You could use their van and split all the find. That would have been awesome.
Unfortunately some dumpster companies like to put the word recycling on the side of their dumb marketing ploy. And in reality they do not recycle the items that usually goes to a landfill. Here in Orlando Florida I have caught many companies doing that and I do make their lives a living hell since I'm an environmentalist and I specialize in recycling. Unless it says recycle items only or metal recycling only those are the dumpsters to stay away from. But if it just says Sunnyland recycling trash service. Or here we go recycling container services or something along those lines that's just and it's perfectly okay to take anything out of there. Unless someone comes out and says you know I don't want you to get in there and taking things so that's the way here in Florida you can decipher if it's okay to remove something from a dumpster that appears to have nothing but metal in them. I tried to educate many retailers here in Central Florida that when they call for a dumpster service and they say Sunnyland recycling on the side that does not particularly mean their items will be recycled and a lot of times they're not especially when the market is the way it is now these dumpster companies just think it's not worth separating and they just take him to the landfill anyway discuss practice what they do. I hope that answers your question in many other people may have questions concerning what is a recycle dumpster what is not it really has to state on there that its recyclables only no trash or metal only no trash or posted do not remove anything no trust or if someone says now that's a metal dumpster that there's nothing else just the word recycling on the side of the dumpster doesn't these days.
Too bad you don't live closer to Chris and Hollie. They do a lot of "scraplife" and have a truck and trailer. I betcha they could help you clean out the metal in that dumpster in a few hours. Heck, the shelves alone would be worth beaucoup bucks, let alone all those small fittings, screws, buts and bolts. Shout out to The Chris and Hollie show.
All those electrical connectors , led lights ,gang boxes ..worth several hundred dollars along with the rolls of wire still in the dumpster.maybe more $$.never scrap that stuff..I knew a const..superviser told me have at it-with a remodel dumpster..all electrical and shelving I made about 5grand
This is totally legal if there is no gate or sign stating keep out you are good to go bro.good stuff!!!!lots of good stuff !!BUT MOST DEF KEEP ON THE SAFE SIDE YOUR RIGHT.
Hope you got all the EMT boxes connectors and everything electrical. That stuff I’d buy as would any electrician that does what I do. Also was the greenfield aluminum? It’s usually just galv. Anyhow I’d love to find that stuff.
OMGOODNESS wish I was around to help you get all that gear.. excellent find......I cant believe how much people waste... It must be frustrating for you not to get it all....
Nice score so far..( only half way through video)..... I was like where did Creesha go..... then she appeared in the grass relaxing :) What an awesome dog she is.... Your throwing stuff out and she just sits on the scooter knowing you won't accidentally hit her.... :) Good idea to check and see if you can sell the whole spool as is before scrapping............ Looks like they do recycle from their website... but they also say commercial, industrial and residential... .... Hate to think it will all just go in a landfill.....Many moons ago our landfill allowed people to go and pick through the trash the trucks dumped.... Now they watch people like a hawk..... Whether or not it is illegal or legal... you did what you felt was right.... n that's what counts.... You will make some good $$$$ on what you took.... Hope you share a video on what you got from just that dumpster....
E3 is a rental dumpster the more it weighs the more in this case (Target) has to pay them...they were at toys r us and sports authority...they are not recycle dumpsters 😀hope that helps friend
Don't you dare scrap the spool my man, that's easily 200-300$ right there. As far as illegal/legal diving...Target doesn't want it, they pay for it to be removed, the "recycling company" makes money of removing the stuff plus they make money by recycling all that stuff. Whatever you take is something Target doesn't have to pay to be removed. I wish you could've hooked up the whole dang dumpster to your scooter and taken all of it
Those led lights look fairly new and are supposed to have a very long life time, would be interesting to see if they failed somehow or if they are working fine and it's jut one more waste.
I watch your videos and see you cut cords on things often. I want to mention to the general public who watch also that maybe cutting cords is not the best way to make money. If you find vacuums, keyboards, other electronic things you can usually sell them for money! Just imagine that you cut the cord off of a vacuum that costs a couple hundred dollars new--and you get a few cents out of the cord when actually selling the vacuum might have brought you $80. It is important to use sense about it. The random vacuum might be broken, but on a 'move out of apartments because the leases are up situation 'odds are they all work. There are lots of Facebook groups to sell local in almost everywhere. Think it through-take things home and test it and if the item truly does not work, then scrap what you can and pitch the rest out.
yay more puppers and depending on where you live and the time of day i would love to help you clear some stuff on big dives like that so you can get to everything not doing it for money obviously i just want to help people
