I have a 3 dollar keyboard for 11 years. Used it every single day for gaming typing and what not. Cleaned it once last year. No issues still. Don't understand these "gaming" keyboards.

Easy do not buy mark by me. Keys are super inconsistent, few doesnt even klick from day one, gladly returned, confortable magnetic wrist rest is only positive point of this board. 4/10

I have the original v1 ornata. and it feels horrible. the only thing I like about it would be the keycaps but it's not that responsive tbh.

If you couldn't buy a mechanical for about the same / less, it would be. But since you can, it's really not. Subjective anecdote: A friend who doesn't actually care about mechanicals bought this Razer, and returned it two hours after to get an identically priced mechanical keyboard from Razer. Apparently the key feel is that bad / inconsistent that even a person who normally likes membranes might not like this one.

All the mechanical keyboards start to "chatter" and double press keys rather quickly, especially with more dust/ashes around. Even LEDs start showing the wrong colors after only a year or two. For the high price for proper models, that is unacceptable. Coupled with the noise of even the rare silent switches, no wonder people are disappointed and are going back to membrane.

@@WeDoTech Up until recently I had an ASUS ROG Strix Flare 1 (MX brown, lasered key layout), and since my country layout is extremely difficult to find with completely see-through keycaps (not just up/down half), wristwrest and RGB, I ended down with Logitech G213. I wated to get Razer Ornata V3 but it does not have NKRO. At least the G213 is way more silent and I can see all the letters in the dark...

@@xd_joe You know what, I missed the keypress feel of the mechanical keyboard, so I did even more research, and today I got the Deathstalker V2 Pro TKL (red linear). It is even better that on the reviews. Mine is even quieter that You can hear on YT videos. These low-profile switches are great, they even feel pre-lubed. And since it is hot-swappable and the caps have Cherry stem, I can always replace both. Great keyboard, different feel than other Razor keyboards.

@@zauberx Nothing sounds as bad as this Razer fake-mechanical though: It has built in clickers. It's trying to emulate the loudest type of mechanical switch. So it "sounds like mechanical, feels like cheap rubber dome."

i recently bought the crosair. it is amazing for the price, you can add multiple lighting effects on top of each other, allowing you to be creative, you can even choose colors and pace for the effects, you can even set static colors for the keyboard bc it is split into 5 zones (zone 1 blue, zone 2 greem and so on). the crosair has more effects than ornata You get 6 macro keys to assign so many functions to, launch app or text or shortcut and much more, it also more media keys. The only downside is that the rbg transition is not as smooth as ornata
