We had a lot of people in Southampton over the weekend for the Take That concert, was a nice day as well. Hope you had a nice day out when you were there.
I really like Southampton, its one of those places you wouldn’t normally consider visiting (unless you were getting a cruise), but i think it has a bit of everything 😊

My Sunday is now complete! Roast lamb for Sunday dins followed by fresh Kent strawberries (my first taste of them this year) in a flan case and some runny cream *lush time* followed by a quick visit to the JJExtra channel to see what the two scamps have been up to this week 😃 And your visit to Southampton was enjoyable - those cruise liners are so huge, I just wonder how on Earth do they stay afloat and not sink to the bottom of the briny and Davy Jones’s locker??!! But the video of the museum was interesting - especially the Titanic section as I am a bit of a “Titanicophile” ! I find the essence of the tragedy unbelievable - like it was a film story idea BEFORE it was actually a film in real time! All of what would have been the acting cast “roles” were in there and in place and in real life! The unscrupulous business man, the flighty woman “love interest”, the hero who dies, the Captain sticking out until the bitter end and the “supporting cast”! 😲🥺 Sunday so far, has been a deep joy - and if no 2 son gets home from his work in a cheerful mood (ermmm, unlikely but we hope 🤞🏻) then tonight, I hope to be sitting around the tellybox watching Dr Who and the David Attenborough Mammals series to catch up on, whilst eating Butterkist - anticipating a supper treat of a cheese toastie or a bacon sandwich!! - easily pleased, me! 😄

I used to see the Anthem of the Seas in Cocoa Beach Florida! Like, every 3 days. They must have moved it to the UK permanently.🤷♀️ Edit: Apparently it spends summers in the UK and winter in Florida. She leads a charmed life, thats for sure lol.
Have you guys ever taken a cruise? Is a cruise holiday something you think you would enjoy? Seems like the only thing left for you guys to do in Southampton is board a ship!
We have only ever done 2 nights on a Disney cruise when they done the ‘at sea’ ones during the pandemic… maybe it’s something we need to look into to 🤔
Why is s it 'Ocean Village' or 'Ocean side City' ? It's _not_ the _ocean_. Southampton (pronounced South_ampton or it would have two aitches) faces the English Channel, barely even a sea, certainly not an ocean. Only Cornwall's Lizard Point juts out into the (Atlantic) ocean. Everywhere else edge on to seas... The Irish🇮🇪 Sea, to rhe west of Wales,🏴 the North Sea, to the east of Englsnd🏴, with Scotland🏴 edged by the sea, sorry, I forget the name (?), Baltic (?) 🤔🤞🥺😟🤭🤨🇬🇧
