Legends have it that Gerry and Murray are standing on their respective prows like Finn Mcoll and Bennader , hurling insults at each other to this day .
Great video again. The only Munro I have been at the Skye. Nice views. Easy walk if you follow the main path. I did not so ended up the summit next to it. Between them there is a ridge and scrambling to do.
Your camaraderie was phenomenal, and your excitement is infectious, Murray, Gerry and Mark (the referee) Thank you for another great adventure. My best wishes to you all and your (Long suffering) families for the season and into the new year, lang may yer lum reek, and may Santa find you sound on Christmas day and grant your wish🤠
Thank you Murray, Gerry, Mark, lovely video as always. Love the way you guys interact with each other, always makes me smile. Stunning Scottish scenery as always, who needs the Alps or the Grand Canyon when there is all this 😍 Hope you all have a great Christmas and 2023 brings you peace, joy and many adventures. (must admit I have prow envy now...)
What happened to the fourth musketeer? Cracking film, always good to have yer big brother along. My history with Bla Bheinn is long, well 28 and a half years. I used part of it in naming my son (Bheinn, pronounced 'Ben' for ease) and took him there as his first Munro in 2014.
Marvellous as always Murray (and pals). Took my first dander up to Skye last summer, Blaven is first on the list when I get back, you've given it the hard sell.
Fabulous hill. Though I might argue that the views from Marsco are better. Fewer prows on that hill though. 😀 And the video shows the true joy of being out with mates on such a grand day. The banter makes the day and, in this case, made the film even better. Merry Christmas to all at Steaming Boots.
Thanks for all the fantastic videos , views, the great patter, and to your Lewis ,Gerry, ray and tom etc who accompanied you this year we are very lucky people to enjoy them have a great festive period
Thanks Murray for this wonderful video as usual I was in awe of the photography editing... and the Craic between you and Gerry 😂😂. I can't believe you've not won countless accolades.... Excellent viewing as always 😊
Ohhhh my god ! You guys are not scared of heights are you, Murray when you you shot the camera down that scree and rock crag I hadn’t realised how close to the edge you were actually walking, those shots you do just leaning us over the edge, if you had a wicked Bluetooth so you could here the things people say when they are watching you would die laughing, there were some expletive’s followed by no no Murray don’t do it, and then you went and climbed up the opposite side of my screen to where the boys were standing on the other side of my screen, I nearly had a heart attack ! A friendly one. ! Brilliant shot bloody marvellous shot 😮thank you soooooo much, can I just also say the poetry is beautiful emotive and so moving, it’s a spiritual experience that you immerse me into, I’m right there with you, and I have to say it brings a stinging tear to my eye at times Murray and a constant smile from ear to ear, some of the best cinematic content I’ve ever seen. Now back to it, Old Owl 🦉 Alaya.
That was fantastic Murray, and great to see Gerry and mark as well. Thank you for all the wonderful adventures you've shared us this year. Great cinematography, music, and photos. Wishing you and your family a lovely Christmas and New Year. Take care Alioban x
That was really enjoyable You all looked like you had a good time Such beautiful scenery and the drone shots really shows the full view Is camping allowed in that area? Have a Merry Christmas if we don’t see you before then 🇨🇦❤️🎄
Thanks Sue - camping is allowed in most places in Scotland - the isse with this mountain is finding some grass to camp on as it is mostly rocky !! Happy Christmas to you and yours too Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Yeah, pretty darn magnificent really. A wonderful adventure with sublime views and company! Happy Christmas to all on the Steaming Boots team from Jono in New Zealand.
What a brilliant video to end the year lots of fun and laughter including fabulous views of the majestic Black Cuillin Thank you for bringing the mountains to us on a horrid wet Scottish day. Gerry your dry humour is so funny and your psychology anthogy is so correct 🤣

Murray you've clicked baited me! 😂 couldn't watch it because I've been busy in work for the past few days thinking it was the end of steaming boots the whole time 😅, cheers for sharing another great trip, and merry Christmas!

Great video Murray, agree with you it's a contender for best mountain view, I've never been able to choose between it, Gilean, Ladhar Bheinn and An Teallach for the title
Was this in mid October? You did a live feed on Instagram one of the tops, we where on Cur Mor that day and I got a notification, was absolutely glorious😊.
Thats absolutely correct - middle of October it was - such a great day to be on the hills :) Hope you had fun on Cul Mor Take care and thanks for watching ATB Murray
Thanks Stevie - it was a fantastic trip this one - some unseasonable autumnal weather :) conditions on tonights video are a little different !lol Thanks for watching ATB Murray
Been there three times, each after the Clach Glas traverse. Two with Awesome views including one with a sunset, one fully clagged in. You do get a good view of the main ridge from there.
Fantastic again Murray, love the banter between you all in this! Did this in Jan ‘22, no views, full on winter, still amazing, great to see it in these conditions! All the best, Duncan
Stunning photography! Brings back many happy memories of climbing up there in similar conditions before walking down to Carmasunary beach and back round to the car park by the waterfall Thanks so much for preparing and posting..
Thank you for showing us these Beautiful places. I live in Lancashire just on the Border with Yorkshire. Where I live is near Pendle hill. It's one that stands on its own. So the views are good. Not has Spectacular as the blue mountains. But nearly.
Sheer quality Murray in awesome conditions. Brings back great memories of leading a group of soldiers up Blaven that hadnt done a Munro before. They were gobsmacked by the view of the Cullin so I earned a few brownie points that day. Thanks for helping me relive that day
Well this really made us smile😊. Clearly you were all giddy to be out enjoying these stunning landscapes along with each others company, what could be better😊👏. We reckon both prows were very impressive🤣👍. Thank you for sharing your truly amazing adventures with us this year Murray. Wishing you and yours a very merry christmas☃️🎄👊👍
Cheer Julian - this was the day after our day of gales and torrential rain at Loch Etive!! - just a little difference in weather!! Happy Christmas to you and yours Julian Thanks for watching ATB Murray
3 pals having a wander. Catching up on the craic, the patter, perfect way to check that everyone is doing ok. Remember, it’s good to talk, check on a friend you haven’t spoken with in a while. Thank you Murray for all your videos in ‘22, all the best in ‘23, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Forget the prows, what brilliant views, don't know how you are going to better this next year. A happy hogmany to you and the family, a sincere thanks for keeping us anchored back home!
