I'm a big believer in beretta browning miroku where at their best through 70s 80s and into 90s, slowly cut costs on everything and make them to a budget now. I shoot 1970s mirokus, chopper lump barrels, disc set strikers, top pivot hammers, hand engraved , polished steelium barrels, today you pay a hell of a lot for that quality
You can learn to break clays with any gun but some guns suite you better than others and are easier to shoot also less tiresome . As long as I get out a couple of times a week I’m happy , sometimes I rattle them and other times I do less well but I still come away smiling 😊. I’ll never be A class but that doesn’t matter . I meet other shooters and have a great time 😁👍
@@shahreyaralam1019 been out today and rattled them , even took a few pumpkins 🎃, stuck them on short poles and let rip with no1 shot travelling at 1550fps . They disintegrate 😁 . Chatted with the crowd that turned up in the bad weather , came home , walked my dog , had my dinner , cleaned my two guns and ready for a shower and bed . What more can you ask for . Hope you smoke a few when you you go pal 👍😁
I have a Beretta 682 Gold e, O/U 12G and I love it. I'm new to the hobby, currently around 10 out of 25 in trap, around same in Skeet as well and still learning. I don't feel bad when I miss, the gun fires and I'm learning and that's most important. My 682 Gold e is 2004 manufactured model and not in 2022, it in fact appreciated way more, close to $4000 in used market if I sell today, but I would never, it's a keeper. I also own Beretta A400 Upland semi auto but 682 has its own charm.
Three of these came up for sale at one of my local dealers last year and given the opportunity to handle the guns I chose a minter with beautiful grade 5 stock for £1700. Shoots a treat with 32" barrels and I can honestly say its the best gun I own in my modest collection.
Beretta 682 series are the most winning gun ever,, I have a 682 special skeet , 26" barrel, and fixed choke and a 682 super sporting, 28 barrel and chokes, sold my DT11...
100% agree absolutely great quality clay gun perfectly at home in the field also, classic and classy, so well made, will not be leaving the cabinet ever. As you say they don't come up that often but got mine at Holts very reasonably 👍👍
As you know from my previous comments here I live and shoot clays here in France. One of my best shooting pals is a French guy who shoots with one of these guns. He has had it from new many years ago and loves it to bits. He wouldn't changed even if you offered him a free gun.
David, a request. most of the time I cant make out the bird as you shoot, in which case I have no idea of the mechanics of the shot, could you use a shot cam please? As always a very concise video, well presented.
Browning 725 is my favorite. I own a Browning 725 Feather 12 gauge over under shotgun weighing just 6 pounds and 7 ounces with 26 inch long barrels. I add ported extended chokes by Tru-Lock. Improved cylinder and improved modified.
bought one today 682 gold e trap 32" optima multichoke steel proofed it has optima flush chokes selective trigger it only weighs 7.15oz comb is high ( trap gun ) and its had a professional wood refurbishment shooting it tuesday 🤞
I have had the 682 gold and 682 gold e It's been 20 years since I've shot trap and just last night decided getting back into it. I found some 682 gold e online yesssss
i had both a 32 inch sporter gold e , and an x trap gold eversion ......nice guns, the sporter is low in the comb and i had mine made adj. the x trap had a montecarlo, so no need there but was a lump (a sexy one though). I sold it to release some cash and bought a yildiz pro black. this out shoots the beretta's for me by far!! the stock is spot on, the balance fantastic and just exceptional value for money. i also shoot the litespeed and they are a great cart with great kills - bit punchier, but quality and great value.
Was excited to see Beretta in title. Thanks for sharing!!! One of my favorite ones yet!!! You have to remember Beretta shoot flat!!! It’s not a Browning 🤣
Quite agree Dan, bought mine new 30 odd years ago and wouldn't dream of trading it. It will see me out and probably my son too. Never did like gold triggers! Lol.
My lady just bought one of the 682 Sporting '86 for me to shoot with her at the clay grounds. She has a benelli 862u and it is sooo much shorter than it. I do like the size of it in hand compared to the browning i used at the club but darn I'm having a bit more trouble pinging them after our first trip out. Is barrel length my drama 🤔

I shoot a browning ultra XS prestige for clays But for game I use a beretta 693 sporter with game scene I never used to shot any beretta well but that 693 they recently stopped making them But it handles so well I had to have one
Had a 32" a few years ago. Kept it for about a year but my scores were way down on my old Miroku. Found it too whippy. Ended up with a 725 but still not recovered my old form. 😕
Thanks Dave for doing a review of a Beretta (that must of hurt) value for money the 682 Gold E is a phenomenal gun, Its very well built, Just one issue, why do you keep seeing a lower comb as a negative thing? it may be for you but not for about 50% of the shooting population a lower comb is just fine.
@@joaquinvalente8796 yeah, thise going away looked to be dropping so he shot over some. I find that with many guns my eyes are too high above the rib, looking down on it. I want more drop if I understand the terminology
Anyone know the approximate value of a Beretta 682 Gold E Sporting 30in 12gauge? Near mint, possibly never fired. I never fired it but i got it from family that passed away and didnt get any info on it. Looks too clean inside the barrel.to.have been shot. I am in the U.S b.t.w. Any help is appreciated
Nice video, I used to be a Beretta fan but had a problem with a very new Beretta firearm and their customer service was awful, flat out rude. I will never own another Beretta product again.
@@Frederiksberegvej Not one of their shotguns, but a .32 Tomcat pistol. Do a RU-vid search for one of those and you will see many people with the same problem, a cracked frame in the same spot.
So, what to you call a 2018 686 equipped with a NOS 682 Gold E adjustable stock. A heck of a good shooting gun. Of interest is that NOS stock I picked up was Hand Checkered and features EELL grade Walnut. Cost was 538.00 USD and the stock features Beretta's original adjustable comb hardware that is a rather inferior design.
Not to be offensive or so because i like this video but it seems you miss plenty of clays.......or does it only seem that way because of the camera and stuff. Really, i dont want to be offensive !
Caesar.. just saying… David… you need to seriously think about credibility… if it’s not an earlier video about Skeet that’s wrong… you then portray a gun as a legend and then struggle to hit 30%.
