It’s derived from the Persian word “Birian” which means “fried before cooking”. So the most logical answer is “Biryani” is the correct one. “Briyani”however is used more in Singapore and Malaysia.
Your should had tried more Indian food in Gokul Raas. I just went recently, had paneer makhani, roti jalil, soup kambing, all were quite good. Also tried their laksa goreng, it's quite good with adjustable spicy level.
couldnt help but notice the rice flying out 4:15 🤣🤣 when nigel said maha means great i had the same thought as Ben asking myself taj mahal their reaction damn funny
Agree the butter chicken there is awesome! If want to explore nice northern Indian food, khansama is really good. For biryani, I personally like bismillah Briyani
finallyyyyyyyyyyyyy, thank you for featuring a full on episode on indian food, can feature more south dishes since most indians in SG and Malaysia are south indians. Not saying cant feature other regions but just saying according to the majority thats all...
I don't know why, but this show somehow got magic leh. Today I watched you guys recommend indian cuisine, my brain auto keep thinking about going to Indian cuisine later... Like that how diet leh...😂
1:18 Rusiyana sapadu means tasty food. Sapadu means food. And its not rosiyana its ruusiyaana. Message me if you need any help in tamil but pls do it accurately 😢 2:02 biriyani (பிரியானி) its a tamil transliteration from Persian language. As for Briyani, if am not wrong, it is basically modernized/changed word of Biriyani 8:44 its called Aaluuu Gobi (like the word 'go' and "bee") 10:22 taj mahal 😂😂😂 GOOD ATTEMPT LOL
ooooo! the owner of gokul (indian-tamil) taught us “ rusiyana sapadu “ tho, we asked her a few times to guide us on this for pronouncing!! but thanks for sharing! we are not expert on pronouncing but at least we tried our best for our audience! hope you guys appreciate it. :)
omg y'all need to try vegetarian chicken rice located at Fajar shopping centre, called Tanaka Vegetarian food. They only sell chicken rice on tues, thurs and sat. It's very good!!
I'm starting to doubt the credibility of Ryan's words, so many dishes he "comes down EVERY week" or "eat at least once a week". Sounded like he has 10 meals a day.. lol
Ben stop trying to be politically correct that's not how a food critic should be, no wonder nobody takes GetFed reviews seriously. If you don't like the food just say so then at least we can respect you
