I have loved the 50 cals since version one but I absolutely love the BMG’s!!! I also bought the limited edition just to have!!! Caliber is my favorite clipper hands down

Guys does you BMG warm lil fast 25-35 minutes no at the blade back on the handle; is it normal?

Seems like these have the same motor as the gamma x-ergos. Do they?

They very might we would have to look into that! However the biggest difference is the run time on the Limited Edition

@@thedapperdenbarbershop I do think the gamma x-ergo and the BMG have the same motor but the BMG has a different battery giving it more run time. Please let us know if the motor is the same.

Caliber was the first to produce a linear magnetic motor clipper. There and a few companies that is a motor similar to ours but No we do not use the same motor in our clippers. The BMG AND 50Cal Limited are both faster and have more torque then the others out on the market.

Good Info as I am contemplating buying the BMGs. I was using the 5 Star corded Seniors, but hated the heat buildup. I switched to the Oster Fast Feeds w/ a ceramic blade & LOVE them to this day. I then purchased the Gen 1 .50 Cals & swapped into a fade blade. Oh My Goodness....Once I figured out how to transition from Taper to Fade blades!?! 🔥 Cuts ensued! I love the silence of the .50's & that 3-4hr run time. I use the Oster Octanes for debulking & bald fades & the Hawk Edition FX for "soft" fades. The reviews on the BMGs are good thus far & if they can mow thru bulk better than the 1st Gen .50's..... They've peaked my interest.!!! What is the sound difference betw the 1st Gens & the BMGs.....if u know?!

The sound difference is almost identical on the BMG and the 50cal
