Funeral idea: it starts off with a closed casket and everything goes as normal, throughout the speeches some progressively less subtle space jam references get said and all leading to the grand finale where they open the coffin and reveal that it is empty. The lights turn down and we hear abruptly from overhead speakers around the room "y'all ready for this" *space jam theme plays* as the lifeless body gets lowered down from the rafters, revealing it to be attached to the fan by wires and a harness. As the corpse spins and flails around the room as the fan picks up in speed and momentum the head falls off and rolls down the centre aisle past all the family, friends and loved ones. We hear the squeaking of size 14 air Jordan's running down the aisle, it's Michael Jordan, he scoops up the head and jumps for the front of the room in one swift motion. Time seems to slow down as he extends his arm reaching for the coffin. R Kelly's 'I believe I can fly' starts playing as human piss rains down from the sprinklers. The audience looks on in amazement and shock as Michael Jordan makes his final motion now blinded by means of urine to the eye. He begins to decend as he slams his hand onto the edge of the coffin successfully performing the single greatest dunk in history. The severed head lands perfectly into the coffin as time speeds back up to normal and the space jam theme picks up again. The crowd erupts into cheering and the mood was lightened. A truly mesmerizing performance by all parties. Tom if you read this I would like to hear yours frenchies take on the idea so perhaps you could have a discussion on the poddy and plan your own funerals as a segment, I'd like to hear how a Harry potter funeral would go with complementary shoeys afterwards 🤙👌
