As a Swede I’m really impressed with Oden’s Eye in general, but this is just lovely. The colours are very in tune with everything, the green of trees, golds and red for decorations, blues for how dark it gets during winter. I don’t know if that was the exact inspiration, but still.
Wow! Brands need to pay attention to need Odens Eye. They have slower releases but the formulas look awesome and oh my goodness that packaging is incredible. I am loving how on point the designs are for Scandinavian Christmas.
Angi, your swatches are amazing. No one does swatches like you - so accurate with the best lighting. You can tell just how important accuracy is to you - whether it’s in your videos or photos, you always make sure that we see things on the screen as they actually appear. I remember not being really impressed with the first palettes oden's eye released, but HOLY COW HAVE THEY IMPROVED🤯🤩!! I've loved every single colorstory oden's eye has released since the älva 2 palette and don’t get me even started on their packaging, they have the most beautiful packaging and artwork on their palettes. I want these 2 palettes SO BAD!❤️ The looks you created are just ✨STUNNING!✨ I hope you'll use these in a grwm or smt like that🥰
Love these palettes and thanks for two fantastic looks! I love that you experiment with different techniques too. You said that these matte reds might be the best in your collection. I would be interested in seeing swatch videos by color of eyeshadow in your collection. Like a whole video of all your matte reds, matte blues, pastel mattes, etc.

I love that they did a Christmas Eve - themed palette!! Usually it's always just Christmas that gets attention but as someone from Germany I'm here for that!! Even tho both pallets are very pretty I'll skip tho. I am still on a low buy and the colourstories don't speak enough to me to break that. I'm still looking at their last palette release, the Solmane II, tho 👀😂 The looks you created are super pretty, Angelica. The second one gave me strong watermelon vibes! 😂💕
The palettes seem such good quality and it doesn't happen too often that shimmers look that stunning in a video. The colors stories are stunning as well. Sadly I don't wear most of the colors. I definitely going to try out Oden's Eye at some point.

OMG! Obsessed! Every year I treat myself to a holiday eyeshadow. I think this just won! The red & green is my favorite look! Beautiful. I thought I was buying Pat's, Natasha's, or Tarte Holiday eyeshadow. No way after this review. Thank you Odens eye! Thank you Angelica!
omg these palettes look stunning. you always do the coolest colour combinations, the red and green was so striking 😍my only problem with oden's eye is they rarely have swatches on deep skin so I have no idea how they'll perform on someone like me
I think the pigment is there with the bright oranges teals etc; I have Cats Breathe palette; I think those would show up whereas the pinks and purples, more neutral shades, maybe not so well. Cant go wrong with a lighter/white primer.
Judging by that first lay down of the blue shadow, the pigmentation is next level. I know using a white primer will work wonders though. I have super deep set eyes that dark blue/purple over the entire eyelid, inner and under area. I have to color correct, conceal and still use white primer. It makes a great difference.

I spent 2016-2020 spending 1k plus a year on makeup my last purchase was the glamlite 🍦 pallet and then just got burnt out and took a break. I am finally feeling it again and I want to watch no one on RU-vid but you because I trust you. So I'm watching the last year of your videos. My point is these are so far the only thing I'm sad to have missed. So so so beautiful. But thank you for bringing back my love for makeup. I have missed you. ❤️Also sad I missed your Odense eye pallet. I need to try them asap.
Oh yes, I want both!!! 😱😱😱 So gorgeous! The Merry Christmas palette reminds me of the color story of that BH Christmas palette from a few years back 🤔 that big red palette they did and everyone went gaga for! I still have mine shrink wrapped 😬😂🎄
So, I have watched a few others with these palettes and you're the only one that realized the one blue was also a multichromes (I think it's Blue Star). I'm in love with that shade. But tbh, I love Odens Eye and will be always supportive of them. They make beautiful eyeshadows.
I have to say, I really appreciate your looks being something we would recreate, because I decide what palettes to buy based on the looks I would wear. I think looks that use as many shadows as possible sometimes make it harder to see how the colors read on your eyes or undersell the work the brand did on the color story. In other news, I am 1000% in love with your second look!
That red shadow palette is the first palette Ive been tempted to by since Hela!! That is big for me!! I think the bigger surprise is they were both Oden...go Oden!!

Can you do a favorite brush video? I always learn new techniques from you, in your last video you said “the darker the shadow, the smaller the brush” that tip was so helpful.
I'm not into hiday themed anything...and I don't wear bright cored makeup,, ever...but I would actually buy these. This brand is amazing and these palettes and color stories r stunning...stunning.
You and I realized that dark blue was a duochrome purple at the same time, and my face mirrored yours! FYI, the Christmas nerds are the best nerds IMO, look for them when Christmas candy shows up. I'm not ashamed to admit I buy like 10 boxes and eat them throughout the year ☺

So I was set on passing these, thinking "who needs a Christmas palette?". But was casually watching Lauren Mae Bauty's review. She did these gorgeous individual shadow close ups, with detailed descriptions 😱 Her looks were so soft and diffuse. Made me set an alarm for the release date 😆 I headed here next, to see how saturated the looks could go and you didn't dissapoint 👌🏻 They managed to make a red that EXACTLY matches the poinsettia flower. I have a lot of the Christmas Eve palette colours already, so cannot justify it, but Merry Christmas is coming home with me. I love how they have an exclusive green side, with some truly unique mattes. The multichrome is pale, so can be used as a topper or for an ethereal look. Yeah, I'm excited. This is probably the best Christmas release I've ever seen. Love the old school card vibes from the packaging too!
