I had such high hopes for this foundation, but I took home a sample from Sephora when it launched (months ago), and it’s the first foundation EVER that settled in my pores and gave me the dreaded “polka dot pores.” I’ve seen so many good reviews since then, however, that I’m tempted to try again in case the sample I got was off somehow.
I have this foundation and love the formula so much but I don’t have a shade match at all. I have tried two shades that I received in store with help from a representative and it is too warm. LM runs so orange/warm. I’m a cool olive and I can’t wear any of LM’s complexion products. 😢

Dear Wayne - I am a big fan of yours and your powder. Thanks for your informative videos. Have you tried the new (expensive) Tom Ford Architecture foundation? It’s matte, and thin. I splurged on it, and was glad I did. I went to Nordstrom to color match, and she put in a color I hadn’t even considered from the list on the website (which has too minimal a description for making choices). I love it!! It is my best foundation ever - lasts through a very long day looking impeccable. I hope you try it - I doubt you’ll regret the expense.
This is what i was going to mention., I just got a sample of it and the primer. Holy Moly, so good! The sample wasn't a perfect match - but I will definitely go and get matched. Phenomenal stuff.

I have adjusted to using less foundation so when I saw a drop I wasn’t sure it was really enough but it worked beautifully! I did like it better after the setting spray! You should talk about your brushes!
I am going to be tossing most of my foundations soon. They are most of them expired. I was looking for a recommendation for 50+ combo skin. I am thinking MAC Face and Body. I have freckles I do not want to cover. What do think?
What foundation would hold a long workday on a 41 year old skin with acne, melasma, combination skin? I have tried so many and they slide around, settles in pores and disappears on the nose. I really need help
I like how Wayne does make up like mothers teaching their kids cooking...just throwing things like this like that, this much salt that much spice without proper measurements and voila! it all turns out perfect! Just so raw , so experienced and you cannot get to that level unless u keep doing it and learn from your own experience and mistakes.

I’m an Estée Lauder user, oily skin and currently testing tirtir cushion ( a Korean brand). Mature skin. Still trying to order your make up at Sephora Philippines. I’m a fan.
I’m from Houston, and I use Colorscience flexshield. It’s a sunscreen but has great coverage and doesn’t slip right off my face. The brand has a great spf under eye, blushes, lip stuff, and a brush on powder. I invite you to check it out. I’ve also had great experiences with RMS foundation. Let me know if you try the Colorscience flexshield. 😊
Oldie but goldie- Estee Lauder double wear 🤷. I have combination skin, don't use primer most of the time. This is the only thing that does not cause me to have yellow streaks all over papers I'm working with 😂. Really does stay in place 🤗. Every time I feel it's boring to use the same old, and try something else, I regret pretty soon -_-. Bit cheaper buying it on Amazon (about $10 difference), but then I know my shade now, so I don't have to go their counter at Dillard's. Hope you find your forever foundation 👍 (edit: for spelling)
I've always loved Laura Mercier, but I never tried this foundation before. I love its finish and I would love to buy it but do you think It can suit also for very pale skin tones?

I asked a Sephora Beauty Advisor for a sample since the Laura Mercier area was deserted for once. I absolutely ADORE it!!!! And with the tinted moisturizer blusher, I purchased it last summer and was patting it into my skin tint because I didn't want to disturb the make-up underneath. On a whim, I rubbed it in one day- and it looks amazing!!! So much better rubbed in with fingertips on top of the skin tint!!! I'm beside myself!!!

Wayne might you consider doing a tutorial on an older woman who no longer has the perfect canvas ; Crinkles,wrinkles and sags and discoloration to boot. You and I both know the smoother the canvas, the prettier the artwork.. Yet a lot of masterpieces have multiple paintings underneath. I've seen some tutorials where some people look like. They were whipped with the ugly stick and then outcomes a beautiful creature, yet most of that artwork is rather dramatic for the average woman. So I want to see what you could possibly do beecause I sure would like to learn how to look my best At 74 ;a youthful 74. People always think I'm about a decade younger.
I love the natural, myself. I am not a fan of matte finishes. Love the foundation, plus all other products. With my 51 yr young maturing skin, I use as many cream products as possible. I think the foundation is perfect colour for you! I’d love foundations to come in 2 sizes, a smaller one for those of us that don’t use it daily. Mine goes bad before I finish it! I prefer the non matte finish!
I truly love your content. I don’t comment, but I bought this foundation after watching this and let me say I’m in love. I usually just wear concealer and translucent powder because finding a foundation match is hard for most African Americans. This Laura Mercier foundation pairs with her medium deep translucent powder looks like I’m wearing nothing and color match is perfect. Thank you again for another great product recommendation.❤❤❤❤❤
Goes on lovely and looks good at first, but have to say it does not hold up, is easily transferable and mostly sheer coverage - just my experience on very oily skin. Jealous of those who can wear it because it is a dream to apply!
Well I love the feel of this foundation. It feels so soft on your skin and your face does glow. However, I have rosacea and this foundation does not cover it. I’m left with redness showing through. So I have to use a powder over it.
Have never used these products have oily skin would have avoided lol. It does look nice. I may have to try this foundation. I use as little as possible I have old skin lol . Take care and stay safe. Try to have a relaxing weekend.❤❤❤❤❤
My oily skin actually produces less oils with non matte products but my favorite product for oil control is using a damp sponge with Danessa Myricks Balm Powder. That stuff Controls my oils like no other product on the market
I’m about to turn 65! Please help with foundation. I use to use “ Lancôme” my entire life. Not anymore. I really don’t want to “GLOW” maybe just alittle… I put blk liner on my top lid now , not the bottom. Is this correct ?
