This is what got me into the hobby, the magazine was an incredible introduction into the hobby. They seriously need to do a re-release of the magazine.
Honestly? A video flick through of the full magazine, then with you looking and doing the painting guide on the mini would be pretty sweet. And if you can manage, a build of the terrain as well. Also play the scenario quick battle report style. Would be a long form video, but I would love it!
please take your time with this. It would be really cool if you did at least one video per issue going through everything it has to offer. Play through the scenario, build the tiny bush or tree and paint the mini. This could be a really uniqe long term series to follow along.
Thankyou for the feedback think this is the route i might go with this, going through the magazine, doing a painting guide, building the terrain and playing the scenario for that issue. What do you think? Part of the reason I’ve already started building helm’s deep
I usually miss your live streams due to the time difference. I'll watch all of your videos regardless of the format. I'll say this though, when I watch other channels (wide variety of content, not all LOTR) if I missed a live stream, then I don't usually watch them later on. I don't know if other people are like that or not, but maybe having a video series could get you more views. I'm really looking forward to this content. I'm a thematic player and the scenarios and terrain building sound very interesting. Thanks for the video!

I missed out on this. I was living in South Korea at the time which was a wasteland of SBG/RPG gaming. PC Rooms were all the rage with Starcraft. I brought over some of my MERP books and played with some of my more advanced students.
Video series preferred; I can't normally catch live streams nor do I rewatch them due to time. Missed these growing up so I'm interested to see each one in sequence.
Thankyou for the feedback, Thinking of doing a long form video series going through the magazine, doing a painting guide, building the terrain and playing the scenario for each issue. What do you think?
"It would be very interesting for me to go through this series of issues, as starting from issue 10, it was no longer sold in the local store, and I only found this series again from issue 40 in the next town. But what strikes me first when I look at the early issues is that the characters in the reports and pictures had a slightly different posture and form than the characters we all use today. Especially the elves of the Last Alliance look slightly different in terms of helmet and details. What do you think about this?"
Usually the models they use for photography are “pre production” metal sculpts painted by the ‘eavy metal’ painters at GW they are slightly different than the plastics we get !
Damn, well I’ll be going through each issue in each episode, and painting the models included, build the scenery, go through a history of the game at the time and play the scenario! So hopefully some nostalgia😊
I've seen other channels that reviewed the 40k and AoS versions of these series as they released - usually covering 2-4 issues at a time. That could be an interesting way to go, flicking through each issue to look at the contents then unboxing the associated kit. Since this is LONG out of print, there's no issues with spoilers. Personally I didn't get this back when it released. I'd recently started flatting and funds were a bit tight for a fortnightly release like this, but it seemed like an excellent way to get people into the game. I didn't realise it ran for 90+ issues, though. That's an epic undertaking.

Indeed, might do a long form video series going through the magazine, doing a painting guide, building the terrain and playing the scenario for that issue. What do you think?
Definetley will be just been delayed due to the new supplement, will be going through each, talking about the game at the time and how it’s changed, building and painting the models that came with it, making the scenery and then playing the battle report 😄
I think a mix of both livestream and video series would be good! Or livestream it first and cut it down to a video after, if time allows. It will be cool to see these again!
Might livestream some of the terrain guides, Thankyou for the feedback might do a long form video series going through the magazine, doing a painting guide, building the terrain and playing the scenario for that issue. What do you think?
