Excellent video. Had me look at Xtiles again. I have my systems in Filemaker Pro and I've been wanting to convert them to Notion where I've spent most of my time. Notion confuses me compared to FMP. My FMP system is pretty flawless. Xtiles has some cool aspects, but I don't know it well enough. It's fun to play with. I would think your first step would be to duplicate your Notion 2024 and see how far it takes you. I'm guessing there'd be some quick areas that would cause blocks, but who knows? Not me.

I don't plan on moving my Notion set-up to xTiles. Like I mention in this video I've been using it to collaborate with my partner mostly but I don't want to move my entire set-up to xTiles considering Notion has YEARS of content in it for me that I don't want to move or loose. I do think this tool could be amazing for people who feel like Notion is too complicated or overwhelming because it offers perfect middle ground between complex tools and more simpler tools. But it sounds like you also already have a pretty solid system that works for you 😊

@@ExtraTxt Good point, for your use case it's so perfect. I played around with it some more. I can't really tell how capable it might be next to Notion. It's got some nice features for sure. If that sharing idea is scalable it would be interesting. Didn't quite understand that?

Every few months, new apps pop up that do something better than existing apps. But I always wonder how long these new start-ups survive ... All the information that accumulates over a long time, with the risk that the tool will suddenly no longer exist.
