I bought the 18x18x24 for my crested when it gets bigger and I absolutely love it. I’ve got it fully bioactive and for anyone that wants to get a dubia enclosure and make it bioactive, make sure you silicone the bottom and sides. Well worth it!

Purchased a crestie from you in 2016. He is living his best life in a 24x24x24 Dubia enclosure (bioactive/drylock background). Love my Dobby, and I am officially hooked.

Just want to address the scratching mentioned. When I opened mine I saw the same issue but eventually noticed that all the panels are covered in a thick protective film that can be hard to see and just as hard to get started to peel off. Once I got the film off all the scratches were gone. The panels without the protective film are a mat finish and not glossy. So if you see a glossy panel it still has the film even though you cannot see it.

Great video Wally. I was looking at these for my Rankins but went with Tetrafauna instead because I got them for a great price. Measurements are the biggest problem with most if not all commercial and even custom enclosures. Everything is built on the exact measurement (36, 48, etc.). This is most likely done to minimize labor cost and waste but it can be a problem. Most racking systems are also built to those same measurements but the corner supports of those racks take up space so the distance between them is less. I love the adjustable wire shelving units with the round poles. I have 9 of the 48x18 of them in my room. The problem is that the usable space between the poles is only about 45.5 inches so a 4" tank won't fit. It's the same with your example. The shelf is 36 and so is the tank so it wont fit. Your solution was simple because it was on top but if you wanted to do a rack with these cages your shelf wouldn't work. If I were a cage manufacturer I would definitely take this into consideration. Just so u know it does say right on the description on the site that there will probably be some cosmetic scratches as that's how they are able to cut cost down a bunch idk exactly what it said but it absolutely is there

Great video! I also purchased an enclosure about 2 months ago. It was fairly easy to assemble and is very light weight. Taking the clear plastic off ALL the sides and doors was a pain though! Did you do that part? Mine looked scratched too until I removed all the plastic film. I plan to house my viper geckos in it in the future. Hi, by the way!
