Great Rig mate! Very impressive Have a very similar setup with the exact same canopy on my 79. And the Bush Company awning Love the idea of the extra light function on the awning and tapping into existing wiring Can I ask what additional Hardkorr light fid you use on the awning was it a permanent strip or do you remove as required and attach with Velcro?

Hi Shaun, cheers mate!! I use the same strip lights as on the canopy doors. I used 2 of them and same double sided tape as the one on the doors. They are permanently mounted. Zip ties the cable to the arm with conduit and left the connection end loose and it lines up with the connection on the door 👍🏻

Hi, as filmed its 3600kg. Yes we have a 3400kg van we’ll be towing.

Appreciate your reply. We have same rig, including auto, though come in at 3800. Pick up a new AOR next month that will be around 3300 fully loaded. I cant see how we will go with out some engine mod! Thinking the Safari Armax ecu and turbo?? Cheers

Did I hear correctly you left the carpet in and covered it with the vinyl what happens when it gets wet it will never dry.

@@stevegordon-hall2732 yes correct. I figured I’d have to pull the vinyl out anyway if I get water in the car as the Car Builders underlay and the foam backing on the vinyl will need to dry out too.
