Yes this is well worth a visit, so full of interesting historical items, but the storage of water is brilliant.

I am lucky that my wife is Mauritian, and we stay in dubai, but we visit Mauritius every 3,4 months

Cool museum, Im visiting my family in December so I will definitely visit this. I remember a long while back you made a video on a second hand flee market somewhere, I need some bits and bobs, where abouts was it please?, Im also looking to buy a used mountain bike, nothing fancy something in the region of 5000 MUR any ideas where I could get one?
